Great video as always for everyone who likes this bike. Did 4.000 km in 2 weeks through tough italian mountain rodes. Love it. Power is plenty, it is comfortable and fun. Did 350km with a full tank easily. 4.6-4.9 ltrs or 5.1 at 100km/h traveling on highways. U r right about the Quickshifter. After some time it sorts it self out haha. The only issue I had with the bikes has been the complicated adjustment of the headlights (hard to reach) and a faulty reading of the ambi temperatur (somehow fixed itself). There's so much to love about this bike. Honestly too much to write. The sound of the engine up from 6000 rpm, the handling, the looks and what not
It's interesting you mentioned the Versys 650. I've had 5 Kawasaki but I think I'll have to get this bike next cause they don't make something like this. This is the Versys 800 we all want and need. Thanks for your review.
I just test rode an ibex 800 2 days ago after waiting 6 months for it to come to the states. I loved it! The next one that gets shipped to the dealer is mine! I have a Honda cbr600rr but I can’t ride it for more than 2 hours without being uncomfortable. I hope to disappear for weekends at a time on long trips and go camping with the ibex. Great review! 👍
AWESOME! you definitely won't regret it! the ibex 800T is such a great bike. I just did a 600km ride today like it was nothing. Cruise control on the highways and a little spirited riding in the mountains.
If it’s any consolation, they are the “premium” Chinese brand lol. I have a CLX 700 sport and it’s one of the most fun bikes that I have owned. But yeah, I also had a little hesitation but I just dove in and gave it a shot. I’m glad I did.
Great video! Really looking into this motorcycle. I do have some questions: 1. Hows the engine heat on the city? 2. Does it really have poor fuel consumption? 265km for 19 liters = 13.95 kmpl? What's your riding like? 3. How much do you pay for PMS in php? Thanks!!
How’s the fit and finish compared to a Japanese made bike? Does it seem to be holding up to your weather, have any paint or rust issues? Traction control does it have it? I’m in America and looking for some real ownership experience.
1. How’s the fit and finish compared to a Japanese-made bike? - There are 2 models in CFMoto's lineup that can compete with the Japanese bikes. 1. is the CLX 700 2. it's the Ibexx 800T/800MT. The way Kiska designed it and the materials used, it looks and feels premium. 2. Does it seem to be holding up to your weather, have any paint or rust issues? - Thankfully, none so far. FYI my bike is parked outside our house and just covered. also, I always do my motor wash properly and frequently. 3. Traction control does it have it? - Unfortunately, the current model available in the US, the IBEX 800T does not have it. BUT, the new EXPLORE Edition, does have it. it even has Apple car play. So what's new are the below: 8-inch TFT display (touch screen), Traction control, ABS on and off switch, 3 riding modes, RDS Rear radar, they dumped Maxxis to Michelin tires. Here's the link global.cfmoto.com/800CC/13789.html I am not sponsored by CFMOTO, nor I'm affiliated with them. What I mentioned in the video are my real honest thoughts about the bike. It's a great bike, that will give you FUN and COMFORT, and won't squeeze your wallet dry. Go to the dealership and check it out yourself. Thanks, Chris!
Hi Nicolas! sorry for the late reply. When I did my long travel, the 19 liters tank can travel up to 250-265km, 7 liters per 100KM as per my rough calculation.
