2:18 I should have said twin cylinder engine, not twin engine, so don't let your panties ride up to far. I really enjoyed my cfmoto Zforce 800EX. I found it worked well, and others who own them are enjoying them also. I don't have a problem with the brand because all brads have issues. I do have a problem with cfmoto in Quebec, who would not cooperate with me to find out what caused the fire. I did ask cfmoto, my insurance, and the fire department to do an investigation. Cfmoto and insurance told me they would not do one and that it was up to the fire department to do an investigation. In Nova Scotia, if there is no injury or death, an investigation will not take place according to the chief. I again asked cfmoto to secure my machine and do their own investigation to find the problem, and they would not. I had great luck with the machine up to this point. I enjoyed using the machine, and I know people who love theirs as much as I did. Again, the problem lies with cfmoto in Quebec, not the product.
That's unfortunate Kenny. Glad you made a point of it to warn others. Too often large companies just care about their profits. On the other-hand, the brighter side you have a nice new slick machine. Nothing taste better than a hot meal in the woods. Take care and enjoy the new YAMAHA WOLVERINE beast.
Glad you made it out ok. I also made the switch from z950 to an RMAX2. Can't beat the craftsmanship and 10yr belt warranty. I have no complaints about the z950 tho
Maybe they underestimated the power of public perception. You’re a solid guy Kenny and I for one will not entertain a CFMoto purchase just because of your experience. Some would say that’s harsh but at the end of the day you want a dealer and manufacturer that you trust. Good for you on cutting the cord and moving on. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Mike
Yes, for sure. Keep yourself safe from these people, and that's the hard part to understand, these are people making the decisions, what kind of people are they?, is the question. All about the dollar Mike.
That Yamaha looks like a beast that will get the job done. Interesting but frustrating story with cfmoto Kenny. Liked the meal you were making. Cheers👍
How's she goin'? You know Kenny when you got the CFMoto I wasn't too struck on them as a machine but I figured maybe they have improved. I watched some Fanatical Side Rider vids and he seemed to really be impressed. But now that I see what happened here I guess my opinion was right. The Yamaha Wolverine looks mighty nice. And I hope this never happens again, but I bet Yamaha will stand behind their products!! Good luck with it. She's a beauty!! Take 'er easy!!
Thanks, Mike. Roland was the reason I purchased this machine. He had great luck with his. I do believe cfmoto has a great product, but the support coming out of cfmoto Quebec was lacking. I'm not sure if other manufacturers or suppliers would do the same or not. I definitely know cfmoto turned there back on me. I really like the Yamaha so far.
sorry to hear and see this kenny after me just buying a 2024 zforce 800 trail g2 geeze i am really glad you didn't get hurt. i will keep my insurance up to date and hope for the best.
Nice rig!! Enjoy and put cfmoto behind you. Too bad about the response or lack of, you received. Take care and enjoy the outdoors in the new ride. God Bless Fred
Nice Ride Kenny ! I like the camp fire awesome way to advertise the way they wanted you too, Bad reviews travel faster than good ones, That was a great smoke signal lol :)) Awesome fire for your lunch on that new tail gate too !
Mr Kenny I hate that you have had this experience. I hope alot of people see this and they can't sell there junk. I think your really gonna like that wolverine. Looks like a sweet machine.
Well done making your point Kenny, Like Paul below said, big companies are interested in the bottom line 💵 revenu revenu revenu... Nice looking Yamaha and congrats on the new ride 👍🏻🙋🏼♂
Hey Kenny, it sucks that cfmoto wouldn't acknowledge you. They really should want to look at it for safety! I've shared this on my channel and hopefully someone from there will share on theirs and so on...
Good to get it behind you. Start making good memories to replace the bad ones. There's the old saying, "Forgive but never forget." I think the opposite applies here, forget about CFMOTO but never forgive them. F' them.
So sad that they wouldn't do anything. What kind of outfit is that! New machine looks beautiful! If it's always nice and clean, it probably isn't out there doing what it should be doing. Have fun with it Kenny and get it good and dirty my friend!!
Hey Kenny, sorry about the other unit. I didn’t have your issue but I went to backup my new 2024 Ford Expedition and the backup camera froze up, unbeknownst to me and I backed into my trailer. Very dangerous if some person walked behind me while I was backing up. Safety should be a priority. Looks like you have a nice replacement that you will enjoy. Be well!
Nice looking unit Kenny. CF Moto makes a good product, but it sounds like the company needs a lesson in what built their company. We have had two side x sides ride through corn fields and catches corn slalks on fitted and burn to the ground. One was a Honda and one was a Polaris. Both d Owners got their units replaced In no time!
Oh wow, ya I could see that happening pretty easy. I believe the owner in Quebec is the problem according to the emails and messages I've received in the last month from locals who know the family.
Sorry to hear how CFMOTO treated you and you're right the average Joe (or Kenny or Garry) can't fight those big businesses. It doesn't matter about the dealers it's the big guns the heartless , moraless, excuse for human beings that make those decisions and would have thier risk management weight the cost to having this looked into and fixing potential problems compared to the cost of someone getting killed or trapped inside a machine. It's all about the almighty dollar. Now that's a nice looking machine you have there now, safe riding my friend.
CF Moto is junk. I have a ‘22 Overland 1000 that has 675 miles on it. Two years old. Riding with my son, mile from home dropped an exhaust valve. $1400. Sits in pieces at the dealership because they can’t get parts. Talked to a coworker today. He has a Uforce 1000. Engine went out at 2000 miles, then rear differential These “channels” that offer info on CF are only advertisements. You decide to go the cheap route and get these machines, you deserve everything you get. FU Moto.
Holy smokes, you guys are really feeling it. I'm sorry you had to go through this with your cfmoto. I had good luck with mine before it blew up. The bushings were shitty and some electrical issues that were easy to fix, but it ran good. They all seem to have their own set of different problems.
I got some news for you. It’s funny, but Yamaha bought into Cfmoto and are now working together to built ATV in case you didn’t know. Hopefully you had insurance on the machine to cover some of the replacement cost.
That's old news. They have a joint venture in motorcycles in Asia. Yamaha hitched a wagon to cfmoto to clear permit issues. And hopefully, Yamaha will rub off onto cfmoto.
I hear ya, there all the same I'm sure. I just wish cfmoto would have at least taken my machine and looked it over. Thanks Don for watching and commenting.
I'm hearing stories like this more and more and more.. They have gotten to big for their own heads. With the way they are heading they will never be as big as the big players.. Their customer service is trash, and they don't listen to customers like they used to.. The only ones in the future that will be riding their meat sticks will be MSC if they keep down the path they are going down..
That is how they made me feel also. I'm hearing more now than before the incident. Maybe I was blind, but now I see. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Is this the one that went to Newfoundland ? Did you do a video at the time. ? Did I miss that. Sadly very sadly, your comment is true. Company’s want your money and that’s it. Once they have your money they could care less about you until the next sale, then they are your buddie. That’s sad. I didn’t know you lost it.
Sucks that all you can do is talk smack, but you've got a good grapevine here to work with. The fire may have been a very freak thing but the customer service is not.
Lmao! I love my CFMoto and so does everybody else that owns one. On the other hand my brother just bought a brand new Can-Am Maverick a month ago and it’s in the shop already after one short ride.
I really enjoyed mine too. I put over 3000 kms on it and only had an issue with a starter relay. Sorry to hear your brother is having troubles with his Maverick.
@@OpenAirAdventure Yeah, he’s not happy. We went on one ride. Waiting to go on another. He hasn’t heard back from the dealer where he bought his from on what’s wrong with it yet. Personally I think they’re all junk. How much do you want to spend on your junk is what I say.
🪛cfmoto.... Like the looks of this yamaha. Is gonna be nice. Look forward to seeing your experience with it over the coming year. Did the insurance do anything for ya? Did you ever pin down what caused it for sure?
I asked the insurance to do an investigation, and they said it's up to the fire department to do one. So I asked the fire chief. He said in Nova Scotia that unless there were injuries or death, there would be no investigation. I asked cfmoto in Quebec to secure the machine, and they were not one bit interested in doing one. My hands were tied. The insurance did the best they could for me and guided me through the process. In the end, I paid a few thousand out of pocket, and the insurance paid the remaining.
@@OpenAirAdventure it's just crazy that no one wanted to find out what happened. I am really glad the insurance did cover a good deal of it. That is great.
