The whole “just roll with the punches” during scuff is so dumb. It literally only hurts crims. If a cop loses sight because of scuff, 90% of the time there’s 5 other cops behind him to continue the chase. Even if it’s a solo cop they send out a bolo and someone finds the car 30 seconds later 50% of the time. On the other hand, when a crim loses to scuff now they’re sitting in a hospital for 15 minutes, then sitting in a holding cell for an hour, all to be send to prison for anywhere from an hour to 10. NP was so much more entertaining, and way less malding, when cops would quickly pick someone up or let them repair when obvious scuff occurred. Ofc it’s awkward for 30 seconds but creates so much more and better RP as a result. Crims don’t even want to create fun plans or setups anymore because everything always results in scuff and W chaser cops can’t ever give someone a break. This new change with cops getting to pocket a % of fines creates such a horrible precedent and motive for these cops.

You remind me of myself a few years ago when this exact same thing happened over and over and over and over. The people in the back end of np have and always will structure the server to cater to crybaby tryhard cops because they don't know how to create their own rp like K does outside of ping chasing. They don't do investigations, they don't do anything outside of the box or creative like you see Carmine trying to also do and what not. It is all lazy reactive rp by letting people like K and others create it initially and they go chase the ping, and then their baby egos set in when K finds a method to get away or make things slightly easier for himself so they take the route of using devs ( or newly this "season" of 4.0 using "legislation" ) to shut it down via META. Just like with K-town. It's all corrupt and boring but it is where Kevin has been for so long so he's kind of "stuck" so to speak. He is playing the smart game and saving face by acting like it doesn't get to him as much as it probably does. He's the goat, I have been watching him since 1.0 but unfortunately since the haters in the back end of NP have been getting more and more devious I've had to resort to watching vods so I can skip past when cops do dumb shit like put the servers top streamer in jail for 3 days.

I think its probably because they know each other and realize they are big boys and can handle it. Its way worse when chatters from a big streamer start being toxic toward small streamers because they can have a much bigger impact on them.
