As the title of the video says, I compared the two programmers and I was surprised by the XP400pro, which was intended especially for key programming. As you can see, Autel also excels in memory and chips

Nice video can I ask if you had any issues installing the autel software and pairing it up ?? I’ve got the im608s2 (the newest version ) and I can’t get it to work on pc/laptop at all? What version of windows did you instal on ?? Mine works ok if connected to the im608 all functions work etc but just not via a pc /laptop !! Love the cdgi tools I use the bmw and merc key programmer over any other machine I have including vvdi autel etc

Good content on your channel. Have you tried the key options, connected to computer only? Can it generate a remote or transponder, possibly clone them? What obaut key from dump? Keep up the good work!

Wow another good comparation, i have both tools cgpro an autel im608 and to be honest i didnt know x400 will work on pc or laptop. What to say thanks a lot for the info. Happy new year All the best

@@vladalexandrucojoc921 I didn't make an account I downloaded the older version from the internet ,after I made the firmware update to it. And at least I made the update of the programmer to the newest version. I disconnected and reconnected to USB, I pressed on the firmware update. Wait for 4-5 min. Disconnect again the XP400 n reconnect to PC, you are ready to go. The easy way is to make an account to download the latest Autel version, connect the xp400 to PC , make the update of the latest firmware and disconnect after 5 min, reconnect and you are ready to go.

Good review, well done sir. Do you recommend the Autel mi508s scanner with Xp400pro for someone who is a beginner and I want to use it for keys, EEPROM and Ecu clone?

I recommend it for both beginners and advanced. It is an excellent programmer and the XP400pro successfully replaces other Eeprom and MCU programmers plus the advantage that you can program keys on new models.

Hello. Launch X-prog 3 can do only ECU read/write, no Eeprom or MCU.

The software on the desk top computer has so little to offer. There also a update to the firmware on im608 for the xp400 pro Its really meant to be used with the im608 or im508
