This video explains system realization of discrete time system. It shows how to build a system using adders, multipliers, and delay elements if you are given the difference equation or the transfer function H(z) of the system. It covers direct Form I, Canonic Form II, and the transpose realizations. It also explains how to build a large system as smaller subsystems connected in cascade or parallel. Examples were given to build FIR and IIR filters.
