I think he showed what it was in an old video. If I remember it right, it's like a mouth guard thing that goes on the roof of your mouth.

Well, It's not so astounding while being a musician/being able to sing, as the ability to reproduce sounds from other languages is directly impacted by one's ability to distinghuish sounds, so-called musical ear. The better your musical ear is, the better you learn pronunciation of other languages and the better you can isolate individual words in normal speech when learning a given language.

@@venet5024 Being a certain type of vocalist definitely might help, but I don't see how being an overall musician would impact being able to learn a language or pronounce better. Is there a study you're referring to?

@@mostly_happy4248 I'm too lazy to start diggin' but I do recall hearing and reading about studies suggesting that overall musicality impacts in the ability to learn languages (and also maths etc.). Might be that a singer gets even more benefit compared to for example a drummer, but overall musicality helps you, as said above, distinguish sounds and intonations and so forth.
