Compliment his hard work, kindness, etc...? Being complimented for appearance, accomplishments, or influence will eventually feel very empty. They say nothing of who you actually are. No matter how handsome, youthful good looks DO gradually fade, then you have to decide where your true value comes from.

i can see in some of the videos where they said that, he almost looks disappointed. He's just so talented and smart and hardworking, i know for a fact that if he didnt look this physically attractive, people wouldn't praise him as much. I hope people start to appreciate what he does as a person too, and not just his physical appearance.

I think Eunwoo is tired of hearing constant praise regarding his looks. He wants to be recognized for his other skills too. While he is super talented people can't help it because they simply have not seen someone as gorgeous as him in real life. And looks are usually the first thing you notice about someone when you don't know them. Personally the thing that attracts me the most to eunwoo is his brain. Intelligence is sexy! I love how he makes notes and searches about a person first before meeting them.
First time I saw him on The Best Hit I was dumbfounded. I've never heard of Astro back then. Of course there are countless handsome idols in Kpop esp. the popular ones but nobody compares to this guy imo. Well, except NCT's Taeyong. That guy is ridiculously gorgeous as well. Eunwoo says he wants his team to be called genius instead of him being called face genius. His situation is a lot like Tzuyu’s. Both their faces are so unreal that people don’t see past their looks. Tbh I get really sad knowing that he probably gets uncomfortable because of it, and it must be annoying af when people constantly talk about your looks and never pay attention to your talent. It must also be really frustrating since cameramen and emcees tend to focus a lot on eunwoo instead of astro as a whole. Dang, I kind of think that last question is unfair to him, being asked to rate his own face. I'm sure he knows he's good looking, he's told that by literally everyone who meets him. He was literally asking the host and the public to love his group and their talents rather than just his face. And yet they wouldn't let him off the hook. I feel like that question is just setting him up so that he can look conceited, when as far as I can tell from what we do get to see of his life (no celebrity is truly showing their whole lives to the media because they deserve privacy) he seems really humble, sweet, and kindhearted. His members genuinely care about him, and they seem pretty authentic as well, so that has to mean something about what he's like. The video where they were wrapping up shooting Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung, while so many people were focused on it since they were like "wow this guy doesn't look any different without makeup," that video stood out to me because of how emotional he got at the end. Yes, I first found out about him in My ID Is Gangnam Beauty because of his looks, but my main reason for looking him up was because his character had hardly any personality, and he wasn't allowed to really show any emotions. I was curious about what he was really like, so that's how I came to know him, and I definitely remember him for more than just his looks. I'm glad he is sharing his sweet personality and showcasing his talents, and he is still going past what everyone has told him that his face does all the work and that he shouldn't do anything except sit there and look pretty.

This is the first thing I had said the moment I laid my eyes on him and his gorgeousness really caught my interest and started stanning astro but as I got to know him better, I learned that he is a lot more better than his face could offer. He have a great personality, very polite, so down to earth, so talented and intelligent and all. He is the epitome of perfection.
