Please also watch him in the 2019 drama Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung. It’s in Netflix. He was the male lead and played Prince Lee Rim who was naive, dreamy romantic, sweet, enthusiastic, and optimistic. He won an Excellence Award for Acting in that drama.
I think they try to give him roles that aren’t going to feed into what he’s most recognized for, which are his looks. Honestly, i would love to see him in roles opposite of who he is in real life. Like maybe a serial killer, someone who is just mean, someone hardcore, etc…something that isn’t typical. Because it truly shows how versatile he can be in his talents, especially when it comes to acting.

Since very first , i knew him as Cha Eun Woo because i saw him in sweet revenge not in my id is gangnam beauty. That's why for me it's okay that he broke his Do Kyung Seok image because i think it's a character that he played as Do Kyung . And I am familer with his own identity more as compare to Kyung Seok.
Many people don't even know that Cha Eum Woo is a member of kpop group called astro... They only know him because of kdrama world I was also one of them that time😅
