@@Chrissy-Art These plot holes: What was the point of Sang Won getting beat up by the gang? What was the bully, Joon Kyung's purpose? Did he have a crush on Yeo Woon or Myung Ha? How was Yeo Woon able to afford to live alone? He didn't have a job, his mother and grandmother were dead and his father only came around to steal money from him. Kyung Hoon's sister is younger than him, yet we are to believe that Si Ah, a high school student, is running a clothing business and has a team of adult marketing and sales representatives working for her? Kyung Hoon's family owns an athletic shoe company but Myung Ha takes Si Ah shopping at the mall to buy shoes for Yeo Woon ... and she selects a pair made by ... her family's company. Why couldn't they just go into the warehouse and get a pair? After receiving the shoes (with Kyung Hoon's family's brand), Yeo Woon gets upset that Myung Ha doesn't know the story behind the shoes/shoe brand. He doesn't explain at the time and never does explain what the problem is. It seems to be a greater problem than mere embarrassment at having this odd classmate buy him shoes. Why was Yeo Woon allowed to train and compete with regular (long-distance) running shoes? Why didn't his coach step in to help? Yeo Woon is a short distance runner and needs spiked running flats. Myung Ha gave him normal, long-distance running shoes. Why was Si Ah taking photos in her living room that were going to be used for her clothing company? Why were Si Ah and Kyung Hoon sharing a single laptop computer? Why did the game tell Myung Ha that he had to acquire 3 million won? What was the purpose for the money? Why did the game tell Myung Ha that he had to create an Instagram account for Yeo Woon and get him 100,000 subscribers? How in the world did Chung Sang Woon, a rich, aimless semi-bully wind up with 300,000 for his Instagram account? Knowing that Yeo Woon was poor and living alone, why didn't Myung Ha invite Yeo Woon to live with him and his grandmother after Yeo Woon was hospitalized for malnutrition? If he can't run, he can't maintain his high school scholarship, can't compete for a college scholarship. He can't run if he can't afford to eat.

I interpreted the series as both MCs getting a second chance at life after wishing upon a star; but they were so broken that for that chance to be successful they needed to learn to find a reason for living, so everything they went through was intended for that specific purpose. Saying that! 1) He pretty much volunteered as tribute as part of becoming part of the cohort. 2) he was a “game” plot device to build the relationship of the characters. 3) he could not afford to live by himself. He just had a roof over his head and probably a small pension from his grandmother that’s why he didn’t have enough disposable income to eat properly. 4) she is not running a clothing business, her mom is. She is just helping and it’s not unheard of for that to happen. Russel simons girls started their own designed shoe line in middle school. 5) why go to a warehouse to get a pair when the store is closer? Maybe is a boutique and the warehouse is in the back of the store? You are overthinking this one. 6) because he had a complicated relationship with running and his dad. He had been asked to be a brand sponsor before but I took it as him not wanting to have something that could be taken advantage by his father and the dude was majorly depressed. 6) this is Korea not America, people are not that altruistic. 7) why wouldn’t she take the photos in her living room? The majority of influencers these days do their videos and promotions from their house. He was being an influencer for the brand and the task was to get him a certain following for the game. And it was effective in meeting the goal. 7) what’s wrong with sharing a laptop? I didn’t see it as an issue at all. 8) every quest, every task by the game is designed to give them purpose. It’s such a ridiculous amount for high school students that it’s meant to be something to strive and fight for. It’s an achievement to move forward with the intended goal of earning that second chance at life. 9) because he is kind of handsome but not all that? Were you expecting more followers? Maybe he is not that into providing content… maybe that was a previously established goal for him by his family? How is this important. I saw it as an example that the quest to get my boy followers was possible. 10) he was doing his best. At the time he didn’t know him well enough to even make such an invitation and by the time they knew each other well enough for that to happen the “game”started glitching and they were focused on making the right choices. It kept getting progressively complicated to make them earn their second chance at a happy ending. That’s my take.

That was Sangwon's mom's shoe brand btw. That's why they went to the store instead of the warehouse. That wasn't by Kyunghoon's family. That's why Sangwon picked a fight in ep 3. He thought his mom gave Yeowoon the shoes, but when he realized it was Myungha, he felt bad. He got beat up by the gang voluntarily, yes, and to make a point bc they were being homophobic and talking bad about his friends/who he was trying to befriend.

Just question that didn't seem important for a short series to answer with its limited time instead of the important plot beats If it was more towards why the error started happening etc then it was more of a plot hole situation.
