New Album Revolutionizes Chabad Music!!!
It is being heralded as the greatest revolution to the proliferation of Chabad music. Moshe Laufer's newest album is due to be released shortly.
50 musicians, more than 3 years of work, 4 singer and dozens of backups. This summarizes one of the most spectacular musical projects in Jewish music. Entitles, "Chabad, with Moshe Laufer", the new album which its producers describe as "unprecedented".
Produced by Levi Tubul, the new disk is set to be released for Shavous.
The album takes Moshe Laufer back to his early days, 30 years ago, when he produced his first Chabad music CD. Laufer is a legendary composer, conductor and arranger, who recently was the recipient of the prestigious ACUM music award. In this latest work, he presents a up-till-now unsuccessful endeavor. He has ostensibly brought together the sound of modern music and Chabad's authenticity and sensitive touch, creating a fusion in which neither end is jeopardized.
"He wanted to create an album that could introduce the new sound of music into Chabad music, without compromising the perfection of the notes," said a source involved in the production.
The album features four Chabad singer. Shlomo Simcha and Mendy Jerufi are both well known. Shmulik Listvand, brother of the famousDedi duo Amit, and Menachem Levy also feature on the album, beginning their musical careers at a respectable place.
The last ends are being tied together, ahead of the album's release. In the final masterpiece, which was produced jointly by the finest musicians, is conducted by Eli Leshinsky.
