My favorites from the 60s, The “British Invasion,” everyone from my young years, teen years, child rearing years, grandmother years -they were magic. Have missed Chad, but have always “loved” Jeremy the most. Thank you for your music, voices, etc.
Fantastic male vocalists duo. They were so great and their sonngs. They enjoyed performing you can tell they had that special stage presence and charisma.❤
My dear mate Chad has passed and I feel very sad and mournful beyond words. I will always treasure all the marvelous times we shared together over the years. What a kind and caring person he was and I can surely attest to that!! I will continue to sing C&J's songs to others as I have for many years now being a longtime vocalist myself. My mate Jeremy is about to turn 80 in 3 days - I can hardly believe it. All the Best Diane as Chad would say.
This was one of their BEST songs that should have been a MUCH bigger hit! I had the pleasure of seeing them in concert in the 1980's and they were AMAZING!!! They sang and played their guitars so well. Their music is timeless and will live on for generations to come. Thanks for the memories gentlemen and rest in peace, Chad.
Always loved this song - Found it while playing my older brother's 45's, too young at the time to understand how it made me feel, a sublime sense of loss for the I don't know what. If anything, this version is even better than the 45 release. "The breeze of Summer's gone", And so it seems for this kind of music too.
Wow! I like this even better than the hit recording! (And the guys look even handsomer than they did back in the day!). Beautiful song.. one of my all-time favorites!
Wow purely acoustic then and now! I want to see Seals and Croft’s, Simon and Garfunkel, the Everly Bros. England Dan and Jong Ford Cooley, Peter and Gordon, America and other duo in this league!!!!! Congratulations Chad and Jetemy
They were bigger in USA than UK, oddly.the momentum of hits were broken by Jeremy ( no glasses) trying for a theater career, off & on..this album ,I got at @14 years old.Played it the way we all played our records back then, they were personal things , dear to us ,and they helped us grow into the awaiting world.. wouldn't trade any of it, quality development of our individual personalities and tastes, and now? Nostalgia? Okay , but please be jealous,we had the best time..
At first, I thought that I wouldn't go that far... but thinking about it, very few artists have made an album as amazing as The Ark. Bookends comes very close but The Ark is just stratospherically genius.
