I would say because he is authentic...look around the world, rappers like Reason, Young M.A, The Game, Pro Verb, Hopsin, Joyner Lucas...to name only a few...all these rappers are perfect lyricists who utterly destroy in each and every verse, but recognition and attention is given to those who rap (if you call it rapping) about things that do not matter, or have the weakest lyrics in the history of hip hop. YoungstaCPT murders every time he opens his mouth, and I am glad that he does it for underground....that is where tart takes its true form :)
the best thing about youngsta is, that he isn't just talk, he spits, and kill the bars, his lyrics are incredible and impressive, the whole song is well written and articulated, his bars will make any accent sound dope. This is better than most South-African songs and there is a lot of thought and effort in the lyrics which is really good. Youngsta is underrated
Ima be real. Although I always considered youngsta a hard hitter. I always felt like his bars was more appealing to people outside of cpt. Not dissing him! It was just the same kinda content I would hear from street rappers in the plain. Where I'm from. But I always knew him as an ever evolving artist. With this verse. I'm sold. He kicked it up. Way up.
