Chris have no clue if u will see this but somehow if u managed to get a interview with fit Finley would be awesome bout WWE wcw and his involvement in British wrestling with likes of giant haystacks and then when haystacks went to wcw as Loch Ness anyway that’s for all your interviews
IMO, he's underrated in the sense that he should be headlining and pushed to the moon with his ability. He's got great charisma, impeccable technique, and pound for pound one of the strongest wrestlers I have seen. Dude is awesome.
It's starting to fall into that rhythmic "you suck" that accompanied Kurt Angle's music. It actually became a sort of term of endearment or tip of the hat to Kurt, so I think it's crowds carrying on that tradition with Chad.
Around the 43:00 mark, Chad Gable never whined about trying his "Shorty G" character. He was grateful and did the best he could which is something a lot of wrestlers don't do nowadays. A wacky character is better than no character.
nah his current storyline is much better like we have seen many deserving superstar finally getting their championship but their runs wasnt look good like see daniel bryan or kofi run after that i think its better right now if he stronger his core of the storyline before he get hands on IC title so he can have a long run
@@Airkong423exactly. After the wyyats they’ll give him some wins to build him back up then he’ll go to a top feud . I could see him entering a short program with punk or Rollins and then he gets Breakker at mainia.
Not a lot of people realize this cause all they see is Chad getting "jobbed" again, but WWE must really trust him and hold him in high regard if they decided to put him with The Wyatt's as their first fued. You got this cool faction about to make their crazy debut and they are also honoring Windam's legacy. This is so big and so special. And Chad Gable is in the middle of it all
It's awesome seeing not a heel or face, but seeing the person. Not the character. Chad is so down to earth and such an amazing person and deserves fan respect and support. Thank you Chris for such an incredible interview!
No, that woulda been Gable Steveson if he didn't leave for the NFL. Chad is technically part of an older generation, the new generation is all under 30.
I started paying attention to Chad Gable when 2k19 randomly matched chad and my custom character as a tsg team. I've watched all of his matches since, and I'm so happy he's finally getting the spotlight he deserves.
The intercontinental champ we never got, great interview as always and perhaps it could have ended with a hands in the air "Thank Youuu" (ending on a funny note)
Man Chris, what you said in the end got me. About listening to their stories to become a better person. I didn’t realized how your interviews were so influential to me until I heard you say that. I really started working out and eating better after hearing some of the wrestlers stories. So believe it or not, these interviews do help your audience in a way. Keep doing the great job you’re doing👍your channel is awesome !
Chad got why CVV is so good and why I think he is one of the best, if not the best, interviewer of our current time. The last interview with Shelton was a masterclass in sensitivity, going around touchy stuff of the guest with care and consideration, not pushing the buttons to get juicy bits, but also being able to direct and move the conversation forward or to a different direction. To be able to do that, you have to 1) be a well built person with moral and ethic, 2) be laser focus on taking care of your guests, 3) listen...truly listen and 4) have an absolute huge knowledge about the business and the human in front of you. I was a fan of CVV, but that Sheldon interview, for me, just showed how hugely talented CVV is. That was a hard cookie. I think Shelton is not in a good place right now (I see a lot of what he is going through in what I am going through) and CVV was amazing and gave a masterclass on how to conduct an interview in bad weather. I won´t say you are blessed CVV, because I think it is a disservice to the hard work you have been putting to get to this level of mastery. I applaud the effort, grit and belief you have. And I applaud that in a world of clickbait you can show that there is a different and better way of doing things. Thanks!
Almost at the end of this podcast I must say Chad has such a positive, healthy outlook on everything, it's really inspiring to me. Like for example, he could've just shat on the Shorty G character at the time and especially now but at the time he chose to see the character change as an opportunity to show his work ethic and understood any time on screen or live television is a good time to show your value. Terrific interview, Chris, as always!
This interview shows that sometimes if you let a wrestler put there own perspective of there character without the writers alot of the time they get elevated like no other. Chad gable is a fucking gem
If you know who Mike Mentzer is, he had the same mentality for bodybuilding and training. High intensity training, 1-2 sets per exercise, and doing so maximizes your body’s recovery, yielding better results. Chad looks great
I like Chad, he seems like a nice guy overall and a good person. He's a family man that goes to church on Sundays, and just does his job the best he can, not taking it personally that he isn't pushed heavily. Talk about taking lemons and making lemonade, very inspiring. I've always liked him and thought he was a good wrestler, just had a lot of tough breaks like his partner in his tag team getting permanently injured, getting stuck with Short G, and turning it around with Alpha Academy as well as recently with his heel character.
Usually drank and watched sports with my dad the last decade. Turned on a raw one Monday and saw him and Otis work a few years ago and a few wrestlemanias later I tune in every week to see Gable put on a masterclass
Hi Chris, this was the first video of yours that i've watched and I just wanted to say it was such a wonderful 72 minutes. This felt like two old friends reminiscing about their past and just talking about life over an open fire rather than it being an interview and that is such a rare commodity. Your style of interviewing is fantastic and it had me hooked the entire video. I have a LOT to catch up on however I know it's gonna be a fun journey and for that I thank you.
45:05 He's NOT wrong about this! I have been SERIOUSLY thinking the last couple of years about cutting mine off. The issue is I don't know what else to do. I shaved my hair really short for a few years but I never liked that either, so it's long because I don't know what else to do with it.
The people out there thinking about giving up, listen to this man. He's put the work in and it night have taken a little time but he is being showcased now. Absolutely the best foil for the Wyatts to start with.
I've watched your stuff for a quite a while now and only subbed today. Sorry about that. You got SO good over the last year or so and this is one of the best interviews.
Such a great interview! Congrats as always to Chris for being an awesome host. And congrats to Gable, he's one of my favorites, love seeing his work. Lots of love from Brazil, guys! 💛💚
In terms of the Wyatt Sicks and him looking like he died: Throughout my years watching WWE and wrestling in general, we have been "trained" that most head injuries that involve blood happen on the forehead and face area. Obviously I knew he wasn't actually dead but when it looks like he is bleeding out of the side of his head in the temple area and it looks like a bullet shot, people will stop and wonder if something serious happened to the Chad Gable character.
