chad is a nice guy. I will never condone cheating as someone who has been cheated on. But I have also committed that horrible act and it was a conscious decision I made, but my choices and reasons behind it had a lot more to do than something physical or self indulgent attitude. Not saying that’s what happened with him, I have no idea, but don’t be so quick to judge. Something deeper may have been going on with him that no one knows.

I dont know why everyone is so into this sophia and chad thing. I never thought they were good together. Even in OTH, them dating was eww to me. I couldnt wait for him to get together with peyton sawyer. Was shocked when i found out they were actually married. Its good they have moved on. Chad had a terrible childhood and he owned up his mistakes and the effects of his pasts but i'm dissapointed that people bash him to make sophia feel better. Looking at their lives now, its clear who has learned, grown and moved on.
Having a wife and children doesn’t mean anything.. literally almost everyone do it, doesnt take much. Taking that as a “proof” that someone is a good person is just plain stupid. What determines if you’re a good person is how you treat others (cheating and hurting the people you claim to love so much)

They also always ignores the fact that Sophia has literally almost slept with ALL of her male co-workers on OTH, just like her character Brooke has done! And Sophia also acted very childish until recently, when she finally settled down and married that rich guy (always forgets his name). Before that, she always went out with different guys every few months, before she dumped them for whatever reason. Chad at least has settled down a long time ago and has several kids. And having kids means a LOT MORE than what Sophia did for a LONG time, as having kids means you're a LOT MORE mature than people without, as you are literally raising another person and teaching him/her life lessons and how to treat your fellow humans. i think the problem with their relationship was that they were wayyy too public with it.. i was really young and i remember hearing all about their relationship! so now i think that's why sophia is very private about her relationship with austin and i think it's good for them and i truly think they will be together forever..

as for lucas and brooke in oth... correct me if im wrong... lucas and brooke got back together in season 3, right? that was in 2006, if im not mistaken... chad and sophia were already separated, and chad was already engaged to kenzie. so the point is, the storyline had nothing to do with their personal lives.brooke and lucas would have ended in the show, whether chad and sophia broke up or not in reality. let's face it, it was always lucas and peyton from the pilot episode... even Mark Schwahn made that pretty clear in his interview at the beginning of season 6.
Not true. Peyton and Jake had a solid relationship in Season 2, and Lucas and Brooke were together (albeit in a love triangle with Peyton) in Season 1, then Lucas really grew as a character when he fell for Brooke all over again in Season 2. People are forgetting that it wasn't only Chad and Sophia's marriage that made people love Brucas. Brooke and Lucas were great together because both characters finally matured through their interactions with each other. Then Mark Schwahn brought the Peyton melodrama back into the mix in late Season 3 and completely ruined the show.
they were married from 2005-2006 which was the year that the 3rd season aired. personally i love the way the show turned out w leyton & brulian, but i would b fine if it went in a different direction w brucas tg & peyton w someone else, maybe jake? idk if their divorce had anything to do w the show storyline but it definitely mirrored it
Yeah. And the whole Lucas/Peyton/Brooke love triangle almost ruined the whole show, as you could LITERALLY SEE the chemistry between Lucas and Peyton ever since the PILOT episode!!! Even when Lucas was together with Brooke, he STILL had more chemistry with Peyton!!! You could literally see that Lucas and Peyton were endgame!!! Lucas and Brooke were kinda boring to be honest. There was no chemistry. It was only fun time. But that's it. Brucas had nothing in common, so they couldn't really talk about things. Brucas was doomed to fail in the end. I'm glad Lucas went back to Peyton and married the girl of his dreams!
