He dad was a free safety at UW and a great athlete. I'm a UW alum and was excited when he went to the Cowboys. I'm not saying he is going to be Logan Wilson... but this kid will play his heart out for you and is an underrated athlete. There aren't very many Wyoming Cowboys in the NFl and I will definitely be following his career
This guy is my favorite player in this draft. You see a lot of athletes, but not too many "football players." He plays like a guy who understands the game. His technique is top notch, and his motor is ridiculous! Any team that gets him is getting a Luke Kuechley type of LB.
@@dimitrieusdemarcobartholom9486 that 40 do means a whole...... lot in the NFL. Especially playing LB. You have to be able to cover and play sideline to sideline.
Dude has a nose for the ball. His speed and strength make him very disruptive. He's a stand out player among his peers. Nice lateral movement, good feet, does not over pursue. Explosive and violent tackling skills. Effective in coverage. Good pass rush speed and has an attack the ball mentality. He reminds me of Paul Posluzny but with better coverage skill. Nice pick Jags.
As a Patriot fan, I don't want Harris in the 2ed, I WANT MUMA! He's an elite LBer! He's everywhere needed. Blitz, rush stopping, pass rush... man is a BEAST!!!!!
@@donnelltaylor701 it would be nice! Size, speed, intelligence. He's obviously fast enough to cover receivers, but he's also big enough to thump coming downhill on RBs and QBs. All I hear is Harris and Lloyd but Muma's got size (6'3 ,and tipping the scale in the 240s) and speed, plus he should be there in the late 2ed🤷♂️. He forfills multiple LBer roles in 1 man and not in the 1st round like Lloyd. I see BB trading out of the 1st rd. for additional draft capital, so they should have the picks to get him🤞.
@@donnelltaylor701 🤷♂️All depends on what's left of the top end talent at 21, It's right around no man's land in this draft. It'll all depend on if there's a rush on the QBs. If there's a player that's not drastically better at 21 verses multiple players in the 2ed... God knows how BB loves trading for multiple picks when sitting near the end of the 1st.🤞 I just hope it's a great off-season 😅 cuz this rebuild feels like at least 1 more year after this one before It'll be ready. Go Pats!🍻
As a Patriots fan as well, LB is our biggest need. We will be drafting Lloyd or Dean in the first round. It's such a big need we might have to circle back around in the fourth round and draft another one. Asomoah, maybe?
it depeneds...Lloyd maybe a better player, but Muma maybe better value mid-late 2nd and you can use your 1st for something else..I wouldn't compare them head to head necessarily because its a 2 for 1 deal if you draft Muma
I like his play speed, wonder what he'll test like at the combine. Reminds me a lot of former Wyoming LB Logan Wilson. Hope chargers can pick him up day 2-3.
I agree with you, he reminds me of Logan Wilson, and Logan also reminds me of Zach Thomas LB of Texas Tech who practically ended his career with the Dallas Cowboys. Chad Muma has a lot of decisions to make because he also is getting drafted by the USFL next month because he played in the Mountain West Conference and Brian Woods is looking to draft also players from MWC. He’s ranked third or fifth in the charts. So I can see Chad Muma been drafted in the 6th round by the Pittsburgh Maulers in the USFL or being an early third rounder in the NFL by the NY Giants.
I think the same thing, looks like the best athlete on the field every game of film I watch. Just reviewed him on the channel. Very impressed. Would be surprised if it was sub 4.4 but he is gonna run fast at combine.
He will definitely run a sub 4.5 at the combine. There are a lot of really fast lbs in this draft that are going to go in the second round that can be day 1 starters.
If the Bears are going to a 4-3 hybrid type defense then he might be perfect with his ability to play all 3 LB positions and has previously played DB..#ryanpolesdraft
I was thinking Leo Chenal but if they don’t get him in the 2nd then a later pick on Mina wouldn’t be bad. Wyoming doing a heck of a job with linebackers recently
I read that Chad texts Logan frequently as a mentor and Logan is pushing for him who knows diamond in the rough so many positions to address mostly o line but he definitely would be great in stripes who dey
Tackling machine isn't lying....WOW! I want my Eagles to take this kid. He's a beast and would come in IMMEDIATELY and be our best LB......COME ON HOWIE!!
Who can I sue for me ruining my keyboard with barf after watching the Idaho Potato Bowl highlights with all the blue grass, mustard yellows, and brown uniforms that were enough to my eyes bleed and ruin my keyboard!!!!
His size and the speed he plays with is intriguing. Hoping to get some film on him this weekend and add him to the LB ranks on the channel. I think Baltimore would be a great fit.
@@rocboysfootball exactly. Especially with Bynes uncertainty and whether or not they'll trust in Malik Harrison next season. Baltimore could definitely use him
Man, there is no question in my mind. This kid is the best LB in the draft. I hope Seattle goes and gets this young man. Reminds me of Lofa and Kuechly. Great instinct and plays down hill. Whoever gets him is getting a monster
@@darrellblue6004 Judging by his tape he's sensationally good. He's athletically stout enough to hang with Tight ends and Running Backs, and holy shit he's smart. Easy LB3 and possibly more.
Love how you never see him wasting momentum. No false steps. The precision, discipline, cerebral prowess and fearlessness he plays with are the scariest attributes to me. Love the wheels and size but this kid is a machine. The precision he plays with reminds me of Luke Kuechley 🤷🏾♂️🤔🐺🏟️😈
