Good Lord. Randomly heard this at local coffee shop. First time I was ever forced to download Shazam and capture a song like a pokeymans go creature. Today is a good day. :)
Hey She said "I know our days are numbered" Oh since long ago So hold me in this dream world And never let me go Oh You know time can't be trusted To move like you want it to move It pulls you into it's slip stream And never lets you go No, no, no Truth be told be told We used it on ourselves first The mind hijacker's curse It's slow and tender touch Is now flying in our heads And sleeping in our beds Oh we learned the secrets of the kingdom It slept on the bathroom floor Your mind was leaking out the door You're so scared to be adored But more scared to be alone She's got nobody She's got no place where she belongs She's got nobody She's got no ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba body She's got nobody She's got nobody She's got nobody She's got no place where she belongs She's got nobody She's got no bo ba ba ba ba ba ba ba body She's got no place where she belongs She's got nobody
I mean, it's rare to find a band who can put out more than 3 or 4 really good records. Chad, all by himself, continues to make great record after great record. It's like he can do no wrong.
It's amazing. This album has grown on me over the past 3 years unlike any other Chad's work. It is a more refined version of all his past albums - an accomplished recording full of all that he is as an artist.
Can't get enough of this song. As good as the best of 80's. Well... in my old mind at least. Also, end reminds me of Lunatic Fringe by Red Rider, which is a bonus. :)
Chad exercises an outstanding understanding that which will make a man feel as though he floats through space-time, slowly slipping into it and becoming part of it.
