I’d stopped listening to new music cause I was in my early 40s and had become too sensitive to the juices of real musical emotion when I first heard this in 2016. A young fella played it who I worked with and I was struck by how beautiful and plain and great this was. This one slipped through the cracks and tattooed my soul against my will and I’ll love it forever as a result.

Nuff respect to you man, I couldn't agree more with your opinion! Plenty of people tend to whine about the room being stuffy and lacking of good ventilation and continue doing so regardless of the fact that they can simply walk up to the window and open it, letting all the goodness in. Resentment of ones current state should influence a change for the better I think.

There seems to be an obvious correlation between quality of music and distance from the "music industry." I think that today, playing music and recording music is easier than ever before, which means that incredible, real music exists out there in quantities far more vast than it ever has. Like you said, it just takes a bit of work to find it.

It's a travesty that Rebecca Black gets millions of views for an absolutely horrific song, yet a true genius like Chad gets almost no attention at all. It's just not right.
