Idk why everyone always likes the mean/sassy mentors, these girls model exactly how a teacher should be: honest and firm in their critique but gentle and encouraging.
They remind me a lot of The Unit mentors, especially the vocal mentors. YJ & CR and The Unit mentors are, in my opinion, the best at teaching and giving constructive criticism
@@evidenredi nah Yeji and Chaeryeong are just right, dance mentors need to understand that screaming in the trainees' faces is not the way to go about it, they should be firm and strict but they should be patient and nice as well
@@evidenredi Tell me a pair of GG idols who would be better dance mentors for girl trainees than Yeji and Chaeryeong. Itzy have the strongest dance line of any 4th gen GG.
imo they are not even harsh they speak right to the point so they can improve. And you can see yeji and charyeong giving awesome advice and not strict at all
@@sarahyeates I mean they speak right to the point. Commented on what necessary. Dance moves etc etc. I seen some. Where they comments on how they dress , their expression etc . And some very strict. Which imo i do not like it some very strict. Like from the looks of it. Yeji is more strict compared to chaeryeong. Chaeryeong imo she give me the vibe of she is sweet and super kind. Yeji is more fierce kind. But than both gave very good comments on improving.

did you watch the full episode that you're mentioning? she said "i have no words" in a moment to express how she was speechless with the mistakes, but she then went on to actually teach them?? this comment confused me
3:45 4:15 Yeji is very good in expressing her thoughts and giving advice to the trainees while being polite but firm and yet straightfoward without sugarcoating the trainees...I love this side of her i can see this too when she's monitoring itzy performance as well in their behind the scene clip
I love them mentoring trainees because we all know that they both studied dance when they were younger even before JYPE then individually they joined shows that were memorable that showcased their talent both were praised by their seniors. Joined Straykids show Chaeryeong built a reputation as trainee and Yeji being the best during their trainee (both boys and girls) days. Seeing them mentoring for sure reminds them of the journey that they went through. Note: If you think a certain idol is better suitable for the position think again, know their level, the age and atmosphere of the show. It's not just putting the Best among the rest it's putting the best that suits the show and theme also goal of the show. I respect other idols but i don't think there's a better duo for the show in this generation.
Additionally ITZY is Kpop's 4th Gen Leaders no "Also, and, with or Buts" it was given to them even the Worldwide Rookies and Monster Rookies it was given to them and don't start with "24hr views or listeners" They are also known as KPOP's Representative Performer. You can hate them non stop but they are born to be those titles. Let's just enjoy the show 🥰
They are so polite and kind even if someone makes a mistake😭 like when anxin made a mistake, yeji carefully reminded her what to do. Her voice is so delicate😩They are just too sweet❤
these two are so kind to critcizing the trainees considering the hellish training ,suuper strict training and on-offcam trash talks they got from jyp before becoming itzy. JYP is a monster HAHA yeji is a greek goddess
Wow, I love the fact that they are so honest and get right to the straight facts but are still so nice about it. If it was me I would have been freaking out with the one girl who has only 2-3 parts and has to learn her part by the next day. It's not even too much to learn. Is it because they showed up so unexpectedly and just kinda startled her so she just gave an excuse? But really, I love how Yeji said it so calmly, with strictness yet not so harshly where it would have made her cry. It's very important, because they need a lot of motivation, but at the same time, they really do need the roughness as well. They look like little baby kittens and like one small thing is gonna make them crumble. They need to be shown some toughness as well so when it comes to any bad moments or being judged harshly they can get through it and shoot straight for the top afterwards.
I still in shock itzy now in senior can't believed seeing 4th gen mentoring 5th gen remember back then when 2nd gen mentor 3rd gen then 3rd gen mentor 4th gen and now them mentor 5th gen.

giving constructive feedback without being harsh... but korean reality TV taught me that every dance teacher and vocal teacher has to be unneccessaryily harsh when giving feedback? :P
Well, maybe they're a bit over Idol life by now, maybe they're bored and burned out. Maybe, suffering with stuff mentaly and as well as physically (I mean we can guess that the majorty of Kpop Artists don't have all their disc in place latest at age 23 if not way to early/ier) 😉 😉 Maybe, they fell down in SM rankings and aren't promoted and cared for anymore. So many maybe's and eventuallies I think it's a mixture of all of it together but it is incredibly sad if (former) Fans see that something going on becaues they've been trained in at least one dicipline as well, and if even (former) Fans and ocassional audience can tell thatn I'd probably preprare that's maybe "sounding the alarm" for at least a few of them, because personally I have no idea about musicalltiy and dacning if I could see that , than I'd guess first instance they might have a bad day-week but if it becoming a constant that'd be worrying me. ♥ ♥
@@MBJK_baby Depends on what group ? Individuality is really important for a dancer, it's your identity. Only synchro is robotic and doesn't have any feeling or emotion. It's pleasing to the eye, but that's it. NCT have both.
I'm going to let you know that Jyp isn't in charge of itzy or any group in the company, he's just a chairman now. Jype which is the company is to blame not the person.
Nah JYP stepped down as a ceo years ago. And he left his groups to be managed by different divisions and ITZY was left with division2 that managed got7, that shall explain why their talents are being wasted and they are not standing out compared to other 4th gen ggs.
She's in a group with them and those feedback apply to her. If they provide those feedback to help the contestants/trainees improve, how come it's not showing on their own member?
@@necromancer196 oh god, lia HAS improved and do not even try bring up her dancing skills 😭 shes lost confidence and thats it, for rest of the categories she has in fact improved compared to debut. ppl that keeps saying shes bad as a idol is quite literally the reason she went on hiatus
