How was she diagnosed? Was it at Emory? I also live in Atlanta and have been thinking about getting checked for this because I was definitely bitten by this bug several times.
I got bitten the other day. Damn its was very itchy and my bitten spot got swollen. I thought at first it was a mosquito bite but it was too much. Then suddenly while I was trying to take a nap, I felt something crawled on my back. And I caught the bug. It was big and a bit scary. It was black. And when I killed it, it has many blood, probably my blood. Anyways, I cured the swelling skin by putting ointnment and ice pack. The swelling was gone.. but just to be sure, I will go to the doctor tomorrow. I hope I have no Chagas Disease. Btw, I also had headache yesterday and a feeling of vomiting but don't really have a fever.
I seen one of those in my room. Actually I was messing around with it. Good thing I was wearing a bag as a glove. I captured it and threw it outside while still in the bag. So glad I didn’t touch it. Feels like I dodged a bullet.
@@Las_cacas it's been 1 year since @Reverbz left his comment. All this time it's been sharpening it's proboscis waiting for the promised time to come. It has recently been spotted at the Barnes & Novels buying a C++ Master Level Programming book which could only mean one thing: it is ready to track him down! Hate and vengeance drive this beast. There is no stopping it once it's started. Rumor has it that it hasn't slept one night ever since the encounter with OP.
I was bitten by a bug when deployed to Louisiana. My foot swelled up so much i couldn't put my boot on. I thought i had broken my leg from the jump(82nd airborne) But it was the night before my foot didnt swell until i woke up the next day. Xray showed no broken bones. Then months later i woke up and my bottom lip was swollen so big it was funny. I have the symptoms mentioned. This was in 1996. Would this have killed me by now?
Look up D. Lonnie Herman on u tube - he has protocols he does for parasites and all kinds of things. Watch his vids. Get yourself checked by him because he uses natural "cures" not pharmas as I understand him. If he does not help - or even simultaneously - look up Dr. Randy Tent out of Michigan. He has u tube vids and uses natural solutions also. Both can skype with patients as well. Also watch this short vid ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R01YQhl5PIw.html. You do not want to ignore this until symptoms develop - get checked out asap. Take care to look into this, veteran. You are precious to us for your service. Thank you for serving. It's Veterans Day today. ❤ Deepest gratitude and respect to you and all our military !!!
Try a raw diet detox anything that shouldn't be in your body use charcoal and clay I had mrsa I got it from the hospital when my little boy broke his leg , they said I must touched a surface and hit it like that. Was quarantined two wks and sick for two months and on so many meds I looked like a leper . I went fully raw and cured myself. Try raw diet dude .
No, not necessarily. If you were otherwise healthy your symptoms may not show up until later. Consult with your doctor and get a blood test. Hopefully you are okay. I’m also 82nd 69-71.

I am 48, female, a long history of cramping and diarrhea.plus my husband got bitten and had this disease for a years,However I was able to control both with Imodium until January. I have been in severe pain since middle of January and have lost 20 pounds. The pain has progressively gotten worse. It started as a “bladder infection” pain, but all urinary tests came up negative. I even had a CT and ultrasound done. I then had a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy done which the results are most likely Crohn’s disease but I’m waiting for blood test results to confirm, the Prometheus test was done. However I am still in a lot of pain, I have pressure also, all of it right above my bladder. The pain is as bad as my childbirth labor was. I have had a total hysterectomy, appendectomy, gall bladder removed also. Also, I have this weird sensation of a string pulling through my genitals. That’s the best way to describe it, but it kind of feels like a nerve or tendons being pulled. There is also throbbing in my abdomen and genitals. I have also been to my gynecologist, nothing abnormal shown as I figured with my hysterectomy. I believe I am at least gluten intolerant, but tests show I am on borderline of celiac disease. I have been trying to correlate the pain with something and I noticed as my bladder fills up, the pain increases. But here’s probably the biggest clue, when doing the prep for my colonoscopy, as soon as my bowels were clear, I had no pain, not even when my bladder filled up. I didn’t start hurting again until hours after eating again the following day when my bowels filled up again. Also, I noticed that when I take Imodium for diarrhea I hurt more, probably because the stool is sitting in there instead of going right then. i was then introduced to a chinese herbalist Dr sale bashiru i got the herbs and oil a long with my husband peyronies. just about 3 months past without pains and symptoms and my husband fully cured also.here is my email. chamcheng362@gmail.com whatsapp +17372079382
One of these bit my toe. I was playing video games at my computer at like 2 am with no socks on. Felt my pinky toe sting and it was biting me. Swiped it off poured hydrogen peroxide on my toe then rubbing alcohol hope that was enough to keep myself from rubbing the parasite into the bite
So i live in a town in oklahoma about 45 mins away Witchita Falls,Texas. we have them every where they love porch lights while they are on. I do my very best to stay away from them never ever touch these bugs. Best thing to do is ignore them and seal any cracks and keep windows closed at night. If you are bitten or suspect you have been bitten do not rub the bite. Wash it immediately and apply neoylsporne because this dirty insect after it bites you will defiicate on the bite so if you rub it you will get the parasite that casues this diease. I would then continue the treatment until the bite subsides.
this insect bitten me when I'm sleeping thank god i immediately woke up and he did not suck my blood. and also this insect is so fast I'm tryna kill it but they run immediately
@elietedarce1266 It’s true that some "House MD" episodes take creative liberties with medical science. Infections that have persisted for years without symptoms are rare but can occur depending on the pathogen. However, in most real-life scenarios, chronic infections that have been dormant for years, like certain viral infections, would require specific treatments, and complete cures are not always possible. The show often condenses or simplifies medical conditions for drama, which can lead to inaccuracies in depicting how long-term infections are managed or cured.
@@MedicalCentric Thanks for reply. Chargas is often in the northeast of Brazil. It's a neglected disease, since little investment is made to find a cure or better treatment, since it's a disease that affect poors mainly. Many doctor don't prescribe the drugs for long chronic cases, as it have relative poor effect in outcomes and too strong side effects. It's a shame what medicine have to offer for such thing.
i dont konw i was just working in the yard and i saw some big on my hand and saw it sucking on my blood i wanted to kill it but i was to late and now i keep voimting and forgeting every thing
@@NOVAonALIGHT yes. It hurts really bad initially and then stings for quite a while after. I’d compare it to being hit with an airsoft pellet at close range on bare skin
Yeah i'm alive if they don't shit on you it doesn't spread but if you're lucky some don't have the chagas it'a kinda like how in more southern america armadillos have a higher chance of having leprosy than up here and assassin bugs are the same way i think we're fine
