To get the eraser tool as solid square you have to press or hold down “Alt” key on the keyboard.

@Aysha Ansari, To increase the chain links make sure to keep the chains in stroke, you can easily increase the number of chains while in stroke and adjust the stroke also adjust the size of the shape when needed. If you expand the chain you will not be able to increase the chain links while resizing, so do not expand until you get the result you need in stroke. Also make sure to follow the tutorial carefully if the tutorial is fast you can slow down the video speed from video speed setting ⚙️ if need. Hope this helps.

@@DESIGNERWAQASGRAPHICS Thank you for such a quick response, really appreciate it. 🙏 Yes, i can make the number of links increase while I’m changing the stroke size but when i am resizing, it only makes the difference in the circle but not in the links the way it makes yours, just before you showed how to color them. And I’ve watched the tutorial at 0.25 speed 🙃

@Aysha Ansari what I did is I drawn circle in small size not that big and then applied the chain effects on it, after that I adjusted the stroke and increase the size of the circle that way the chain links increases. If we draw big circle at first and then apply chain effects on it and adjust the circle size that way it’s not gonna increase chain link that much, but if we draw circle in small size at first and then apply the chain effects and adjust the stroke and increase the size of the shape like circle, it will also increase the chain links. Try to keep the circle size small before applying the chain effects so you will get result like mine.

Any image that aren’t originally created in adobe illustrator, you won’t be able to use the eraser tool, so make sure you create a path or shape in illustrator then try eraser tool it will work.
