It's nice to see a group of men taking fencing seriously. The labor pool is bleak to say the least over here in Virginia. Keep up the good hard work, fellas 👏

Been doing this fence for 20 years and I never use a tool to bend the truss rod and I can but I can tell you my work looks exactly the same. But I’m jealous because I see a lot of men interested in learning the trade but over here in South Texas we are shorthanded for fence builders

Truss rod benders speed it up and make it much easier for the inexperienced. Apprentice fencers are hard to find for sure!

Omg I’m here waiting to see someone pitch in and help Mark! It’s amazing to see contractors taking this trade seriously. Boundary fence inc Illinois

That chain link didn't follow the top rail too good 16:00 is that all that can be expected?

Have you always put the nuckle of the chain wire to the top, the barb to the bottom, as how you got it we have always done other way cause its to stop people jumping over the fence
@SWiFence
@SWiFence 2 года назад
We have a standard we go by: if there is no barbwire the twist goes up, if there is barbwire the twist goes down, and if it's a school it's knuckle knuckle.

I didn’t enjoy how one of the top rail sleeves was in the middle of the bay. Should have been cut further back to the post.

I 100% agree. We did that specifically to show what happens if you do this. Sometimes in edits you don’t get to see the whole discussion. Great comment though!

I'm guessing that was 40 weight top rail. I didn't have a problem with the sleeve being where it was. Per ft., that stuff can get expensive. No need to waste it. I do hope you didn't leave that odd angle in it though. In 27 years of fencing, I've always dressed the fabric to where it should be, then manipulated the rail to match the fabric. It's easy to do and makes a huge difference in the appearance. I took my job very seriously.

In a class invited to do something and no one jumped. that truly is a sad state of affairs.
