Hi Deb, I've made this bracelet and it's beautiful however some of my units go out of shape at times. They're easy to push back in but I'm wondering if you'd know why this might be happening? Bead wire too loose? Too tight? Something else?

Love this! I like to work in brass and bronze and copper and am wondering why you are exclusively using aluminum? I tried aluminum once and it didn't hold its shape well and wasn't as durable. Is there a strong aluminum?

Hi Tracy, this wire is hard temper and definitely holds it's shape as I am sure you can see here. Perhaps you tried florist wire which is dead soft. As for why do I use it, because that is what my customers buy. It is light, cost effective and doesn't tarnish as quickly as the other base metals. It's a great place to start with and if you decide to move into other metals you have done all your practice on BA. Deb

@@AussieMaillers I got mine in the hardware store by the picture wire I think and it was very soft. I will have to try some of yours soon 😊

Hi James. I give conversions when I can, but often there isn't an exact conversion and without trying all the sizes I can't guarantee how they will work. We have this page on our site to help with conversions. www.aussiemaille.com/imperial-v-metric-ring-ids.html Deb

Next time I sujest you do this with different color jump rings, this is terribly confusing.
