I got this tutorial YEARS ago and have never been able to make it. Watching you makes it seem a lot easier! Thank you!

Cindy that one will be a long time coming, I am not very experienced with this weave, not sure I want to be to be honest. I haven't watched Lisa's sheet version, I'm sure she has a video for that and I am sure it is fabulous.

Marion I haven't seen one of Brigette's tutorials, but by all reports they are amazing. Lisa is way more accomplished in Moorish Rose than I will ever dream of being....you are in good hands there.

Like... What's the aspect ratio? I'm having trouble with swg. Awg. Iches.. Mm.. Its just confusing
@AussieMaillers
@AussieMaillers 4 месяца назад
Aspect ratio is easy to find, just divide the ring ID (in metric) by the wire ID (again in metric is easier) and there you have the AR.....of course that is just the AR based on mandrel sizes, not the actual AR that can change depending on your supplier....but it is a starting point that you can work out for yourself and not be limited.

Aussie Maille, what essential rings would you recommend to have on hand? Im beginning to make more items but am constantly going back and forth between needing to order and deciding my budget.
@AussieMaillers
@AussieMaillers Год назад
Honestly that really depends on what you want to make. In 0.8mm I would suggest 2.75mmID, 4.50mmID, in 1.0mm maybe 3.50mmID, 5.50mmID, in 1.2mm 4.25mmID, 6.25mmID, 7.00mmID. If you look at the commonly available ring sizes in AA that will give you a good starting point also.
