BTW, I love square wire. Was taught many years ago, when I first started out, to wrap with square wire. I think it just makes a crisper, neater edge and looks amazing when it's done correctly😉

The connecting links are S-Links, or you can also use jump rings. I've been making this kind of link for a few years. I use round wire. Is your preference for using a square wire purely aesthetic? Or is there a functional consideration that I haven't thought about?

MsOscara My preference for making it in square wire is primarily aesthetic but I also find that when I make the links longer than what I've demonstrated here, the square wire is stronger and holds together better. I talk about making longer links and troubleshooting the challenges that come up with that in the full course version of this video. Thanks for your question!

The ends tuck under each other and hold better in square, especially if you're making longer links. Of course, you can always experiment 🙂. Thanks for your question!
