Why would Allah throw you to hell by just wearing earings? Allah says he loves his people 70 times more than a mother. So would your mother throw you to fire even if you kill someone? Of course no. Simple answer to anyone who is looking for it: Silver as a whole is permissible for men. This includes Silver Rings, Silver Chains and Silver Bracelets. Earrings, nose rings and anything more is NOT permissible for men as this is specifically for women as the Prophet's wives wore this. For men, Gold and Silk is prohibited. No question on that.
