Good job on the eagle I've been carving for 20+years in New Mexico carved fast sell at a affordable price and you can make a living at carving keep up the good work
Great artistry, well done editing. Loved watching. You handled that chainsaw as though you were icing a cake. Truly amazing to see your skill. And you're funny.... bonus!
Hi Eric, seriously you have completely turned my life around. This is very hard to say but, Im 36 yes old, South Louisiana so worked in the oilfield my whole life. I rode the oilfield out till last year, then no work and COMPLETE UTTER FAILURE turned into deep deep depression... Luckily I have a wife to let me sit here for a whole year and try and figure out what to be, what to do with my life cause I was and till yesterday was, wasting my life away in my recliner... and 4 months from 1 year you come along and give me hope and showing me that and a lil skill will pay off. And if you like what you're doing it's never work anyway, right. I owe a big part of my future life to u sir. THANK YOU You've got a sub for life.
Anthony Granger hi read your comment & was wondering how you are & if you took up carving in the end? I hope you well & hope you did find something that worked for you & made you happy

I know many Artistic folks from Coast to Coast , they ALL enjoy the Challenge to Create something Out of the Ordinary . Each is Content with Their Craft . The folks that Thumbs Downed this , Their Minds have NO POETRY IN MOTION to Create 🇺🇸 Beautiful !💖
Awesome mate. Can I ask a question, I have a stihl ms 180 and wonder if you could tell me what type of carving bar will fit it? Searching the internet but the info is a bit all over the place.
Good work. can I hire you for a sculpture? Looking for a sculpture of a chainsaw I have pictures of one even have the log just don’t have the skills lol
Damn I'm glad I found your channel. But more happy you created your Channel. I think we are only getting a small toned-down version of your humour, which is unfortunate we don't get the full effect. Goodonya you're an amazing artist. But the best part your Canadian like me
hi . i am new to wood sculpting . i had been watching your amazing skills on display on youtube . i have a question . i read everywhere about safety tips for chainsaw use , and they all say not to use the tip of saw , yet i noticed all the sculptors who use the chainsaw use the tip of the chainsaw without any kickback !!!!!!!!. they also use the tip for plunge cuts . please advise . ( i am considering starting with a mini chainsaw for blocking the wood sculpture )
I have a question for you hope you can help me out I've only been doing this for 5 months now and need to know what I should charge for 3 ft 3 in. Tall eagle I'll see if I can send pictures
Wow amazing! Was watching this while listening to Bob Dylan It's all over now, Baby Blue..synced up for a bit while you were cutting. Just sayin. Good work bro, some amazing carvin there!
Jacqueline Collis hi not particularly. Im quite petite too & manage most things- you learn techniques to guide the saw from the hip & position work at appropriate hight- that helpes- then building up strength slowly. Look up chainsaw chicks - great group of female carvers . Good luck
It's a jawhorse from Canadian tire, you can order them online and pick them up " in store ". They run for around 100 and there a must have if your into chain carving!!! Had min for 3-4ish years, full of nicks and dings but still going strong!!
@@EricCaronChainsaw 0h i see :) makes sense , s0 n0 way u c0uld sell the cut 0ff as firew00d 0r s0mething ? and u can start a c0mp0st pile with that dust if u g0t r00m somewhere, 0r pe0ple may buy it f0r their fl0wer beds/ gardens.
That was awesome. Always loved chainsaw carving and always wanted to go see in person but, alas, I can't, so I will watch on my smart tv. Thanks for sharing.
Tree/ mushroom/ any animal but just the head or (bust as there called) or a wood spirit if your feeling adventurous! Remember in the end the artist is always there worst critic!
