Kevin! I love your carvings, but I wish you could set up better lighting and close-ups to see how you do your wonderful carvings. Thank you and best wishes.
Uncle Kevin awesome carvings buddy! I give this a shot doubt it will come out looking like a bear thou matbe a squarrel lol! See you on the next video.
Oh wow...so much to say..I'll try to keep it short..lol... As we've seen..cracking happens...do you ever treat your wood before carving ?..some "turners" use things like Cactus Juice " to keep the wood stabilized and no cracking...can y'all do that ?... The finished bears on the tree will provide excellent cover for live bears..lol..keep looking up for movement !... The last piece you cut..the bear with the upraised paw..made me think on squirrels...do you carve them ?...or how about our cancelled favorite..Pepe LePew ?.. Well you're a master and we always enjoy your posts...take care and we'll see you in the next video...TIMBER !!...🌿🌿🌿
Thanks Pamela!! I don’t treat my wood before carving.. for outdoor pieces there is always movement with the seasons. I try to keep the main crack to the back of the carving… something to look for before you start😊😊
