Makima only wanted to be loved and form equal relationships, he saw that opportunity with Chainsaw Man, thats why she hugged Denji. Denji loved Makima, she was the person who gave and thought him everything he needed to know, the first person to be kind and give him a sense of love and importance, only for that same woman to take everything away from him. She actually hated him and saw him as a nuisance and what hurts the most, despite all the moments they shared, and the lies that she's shown Denji she never even took effort in remembering him.
@@makima2883 This and Reze's revelation that she also had pretended to like Denji just hit WAY too close to home for me personally, it was excruciating reading those pages...
i interpret that she was using him, she never had any real feelings for him. he’s a lonely teenager alongside with having pochita’s heart, how could makima not take advantage of that?
plot is amazing in csm, same with the characters. these two are actually the high points of the manga. but i agree that the feeling this series gives is unmatched in many ways, very unique, melancholic and somber
Chainsaw Man is a masterpiece to the core of its creation. And even a simple fan-drawn picture like here subtly but also very expressively and over-simplified tells about our humanity. The feminine and male nature of rage. Female violence is far more likely to be reputational, subtle, hidden between lines, while male rage is about physical violence and direct threat, that is too apparent to be unnoticed in a long run. What makes this show so cool is how you see both. You see Denji violently killing every threat to protect Makima. You see Makima plotting a perfect plan, undermining Denji's reputation and killing him softly. There is so much to say about all the untold truth found in this work.
This is by far my favorite from your tracks. Love how genuine the hug looks from an outside perspective. Makes it hurt so much more when you know the truth behind this hug.
everything just fits the music and makima hugging denji it gives a vibe i cant even explain but its a powerful one well to me it feels like you're dating your crush and that you feel like everything doesn't feel real anymore
I wouldve liked to see more of denji pre merge with chainsaw dog since alot of his personality is because of that and he seemed really chill before that
Goddamn, this picture hurts now that I finished reading Chainsaw man. Everything hurts. I feel so bad for everyone. Chainsaw man is such an emotional story. ):
I loved it, thanks for providing this piece of work. Upon reading the manga, everything connects twice as powerfully as it's supposed to mean, not neglecting the music, but adding it on top of that image makes it unique and sad.
This picture fits the first half so well. At the start he's in her embrace with her giving him what he wished for and by the end she is in his embrace with him giving her what she wished for.
Hmm, idk man. I can pick up on any song of Sawano's from a mile away. Not really hearing it. His songs usually have a bit more drum and higher tempo. Also his piano or string is usually never this linear and repetitive.
@@agentj3627 Give 1 listen to the attack on titan ost "Attack On Titan" and you'll know why the man is one of the best Music composers in the world. Not just for anime, not just in japan. Of all-time
Imagine somewhere at the end of CSM (heavy spoilers) Nayuta gives Denji one last hug. Not chainsawman, but Denji, and such is symbolized by Denji being himself. Not in his chainsaw form. A stark contrast compared to when he first met the control devil to now. It comes full cycle. Denji after everything finally gets the hug he deserves by the reincarnation of his first love, after giving her the life and love that she deserved but neither of them was able to have.
In fact, there is a soundtrack similar to this in the anime, "sweet dreams" is an OST from the anime, however I just modified some beats. But I agree with you. 🐱
