If you're wondering why Caroline is wearing a pencil skirt, after the 2008 financial crash we all just decided to start wearing office wear to the club.
Chairlift and the album "SOMETHING" will always be a huge hug of art if im being honest to me. No matter what chairlifts music will always be there. Plus Caroline's solo carreer is off the charts. So much love for this band. And so much love for these early jams

This is a song that has introduced me to indie has completetely reshaped my music taste and life
I went to an exhibit of the museum of the broken relationships in Mexico City, with my 5 years ex, it was a crazy thing, is very interesting the things you see there.
i have been listening to this song, specifically this performance, since i was 12 - here i am nearly 13 years later, having made so many memories to this simple yet so beautiful song 💛 to all the people who still come back to this video to feel the nostalgia, i hope you’re well :)
Literally same....I'm so proud of her as an artist like crazy. And Patrick has produced some PERFECT amazing albums too. Really hoping we get a reunion.
Thank you for archiving this where people can watch it. Have had an MP3 of this song for many, many years. Now finding I can see a live recording is so great!
so inspiring to listen to this music; it's just full with joy or pure, childlike creativity which are quite lacking of nowdays' popular music and its simplicity is based on this enjoment of life or I don't know... but for sure, not the same nature of simplicity as the "lady gaga" things have
The most cheerful and brave hearted take on the pain and selflessness of fully loving another. Astounding how music can get at so much emotionally while seeming so simple. Gorgeous and brilliant ✨🌟✨
I only discover Chairlift last week via a Flume song with Caroline singing vocals. Now I have to make up for lost time and feel slightly sad that I missed this journey.
When they are singing at the same time, is it the same things at the same time or are they the lyrics he started out with? It's far more compelling when different lyrics are sung at the same time, adds a lot more depth. You know the way I'm talking about. Kinda like... Jerry Cantrell - "Bury me softly in this womb" Layne Staley - "Oh I want to be inside of you" Jerry Cantrell - "I give this part of me for you" Layne Staley - "Oh I want to be inside of you" Jerry Cantrell - "Sand rains down and here I sit" Layne Staley - "Holding rare flowers" Jerry Cantrell - "Oh I want to be inside of you" Layne Staley - "In a tomb... in bloom" Jerry Cantrell - "Oh I want to be inside..." ✍
I always hated the guys voice. Whenever he sang I used to get so pissed. Seriously there are a few Chairlift song from their debut album that I can’t even listen to because his whack, creepy voice just ruins it. SHUSH.
