Thanks for your feedback, this is a channel for massage therapy practices, and in many jurisdictions needling is out of the scope of practice for massage therapists. Although we regularly refer out to other practitioners for other modalities, needling is not always available or preferable for all clients. This technique can be an alternative to needling and I can report firsthand that this has provided relief for many clients over the years.
@@erinblanchard7261 massage is actually detrimental to patients who are highly centrally sensitized eg tactile allodynia and hyperalgesia. Dry needling is unequivocally, hands down the go to treatment and it is inhumane to suggest other modalities, regardless of licensing or scopes of practice, for people with severe nearly disabling chronic pain.
