This is the BEST remix I have heard of this song. It reminds me of the one Frankie Knuckles did because FK stayed true to the original with only a change to the BEAT to make it "bounce" with the rhythm in a more disco kinda way, same as this version. But I like this better because it has that same bounce to the rhythm with a new snazzier bassline. Just fits better and I hear a few handclaps that are more contemporary too. Best version, great percussion adds and overall just feels good to hear a classic remixed with respect to the original!
Brilliantly done. If you're gonna remix a classic this is how you do it. Retains the essence of the original but beefed up and accentuated in all the right places. Killer remix.
