Chaka went on CNN and blasted all of them for attending that party while Whitneys Body was upstairs. Mad respect for this queen and legend, probably the realest one out of them all, there is nothing fake about her.

Chaka is VERY aware of the dark side of the industry, and she has effectively distanced herself from it for the most part.

That environment was in some way triggering for her, she felt sooo obligated to be THE Whitney Houston but yet she wanted to relieve herself from it. It's so sad that she dropped everything to be there for Clive all for him to continue on with his party as her body was still upstairs.

Chaka is right! Whitney was stressed about the party and her performance. She got high because she was worried about her Voice etc. That is a lot of stress. Clive should told her a month in advance that he wanted her to sing, not a week. She would been prepared etc.

I love Whitney Houston. However this notion that the music industry and Bobby Brown orchestrated her addiction is not true. Whitney was doing drugs before Bobby Brown and her first album hit the shelves. I am not saying being married to Bobby Brown and the demands of the industry didn't help. The simple fact is that Whitney made a choice to handle her problems by self medication. Whitney said out of her own mouth, no one makes her do nothing. With that being said, her untimely death is questionable and more profitable for Clive Davis.
