Many parts of the movie have been lost. They would have made it more fun to watch. In the end too much chakkar becomes boring. Pran and Kalyanji Anandji are the stalwarts who carry an otherwise bland movie forward. The only good moment in the movie is surprisingly the song "nigahon ka" Which brings some entertainment. A movie made purely for entertainment circuit but a flop when released has some art in it definitely.
Average entertainment movie.. Pran a little bit overacting, still fine 👍 does a major role... Madanpuri, so good, typical premchopra type role... Rekha 👌 nigahen song... Shashi kapoor always jolly..
@@aveekraymukherjee3386 he like Nanda because when he was a hero, no other actresses would acted with him, they hesitate to act with him except Nanda..as for Shabana, he never mentioned in any of his interview that she was his favourite.
@@FILMAHOLICS2 In a Bengali movie mag named "ANANDLOK" (a magazine for Hindi movie watchers in West Bengal, a subsidiary of esteemed daily "Anandbazaar") in it's Pooja issue, a long essay was written about Kapoor family. There it was written that Shashi Kapoor never had any scandal with any actress except once with Shabana Ajmi. Jennifer was shocked to know that. That Pooja version of Anandlok was published in the year between 1992 - 1996 (right now I cannot recollect). As for Nanda, heroins were more-or-less reluctant to work with Shashi because despite good looks, nice charm, good voice, and innocent smile, his movies bombed one by one at box office. Perhaps it was Nanda, pairing with whom Shashi tasted first the enjoyment of success in "Jab Jab Phool Khiley". After that success, producers started to queue in Shashi Kapoor's house, and that queue remained intact and stable for next two-three years, because Shashi could hardly refuse anybody. Only about one thing, Shashi Kapoor was strict very much and never compromised & that is, Shashi Kapoor kept no working assignment on Sunday - neither shooting, nor dubbing. Sundays were preserved only for spending with family. In that same essay, it was also written that due to failure of Shashijee's films, Jennifer even had to sell their furniture, gramophone, radio set, toys of their kids to meet up the household needs. At its worst - besides poverty, being a member of famous "Kapoor Khandaan", Shashi Kapoor always must had to maintain a special lifestyle. Any ordinary girl would have already left & divorced Shashi much before. Shashi Kapoor didn't proudly declared Jennifer as "Angel In His Life" for nothing. Perhaps I have spoken so many things which are out of context. But as an old Hindi-movie lover, I could not help but share my mind with you being another keen Hindi movie watcher.
