We were moving towards Besham from Islamabad through google maps direction, We put our maps settings on Motorcycle and checked on Avoid Highways but unfortunately it took us to newly build Thakot Expressway where bikes not allowed.

Good job motorway Police, ap ko pehly challan is cheez ka ho chuka tha apko ko Qanoon ka ikhtram karty huy khud exit karna chahye tha, lekin ap ghalat naheen hum sb apni ghalti ko justify karna janty hain

google maps doesnt know that bikes are not allowed on motorways it should to be updated and inform to higway authorities to get this change on maps according to law of national highways of pakistan that if we click on bike route maps should avoid the motorway route

THAHKOT Expressway is a single carriageway which technically and legally cannot be classified as motorway. The Challan by NHMP on the Expressway is without lawfully authority and can be challenged in court of law.

You should have asked them where is the law which prohibits to ride a motor bike on that road. You can use the phone to find such law, surely its for public info. Did you see any road signs on the road which says its not for bikes? Awam ko apnay haq ke liyay kharray hona pare ga. Challenge everything.

I think you people didn't plan the way before starting the tour, I presume that you are aware that you can not enter/ drive on the motorway/ expressway. Plan before to avoid these hurdles. It's better to take a hard copy of the actual map, don't rely on the goggle only. Detailed map is available at Naran stores, very useful.

Bhai, why are you comparing with German Autobahn, that is other extreme. On UK roads the smallest engine size is 125 for motorway but nobody rides small bikes on motorway. Imagine the shapator 70cc boys start to ride on these motorways and people riding with families on small bikes. There are good reasons and people on bikes should ride on small local roads
