Melissa should've said: to connect earpiece wirelessly. Most people associate Bluetooth with an earpiece. They don't think of speakers or headphones/earbuds. Wireless device is too broad so a non technical person would automatically say cellphone.

WHY do contestants continue to say "synonym", it's such a waste of words. If you're describing a word, it's a given that you're giving a SYNONYM for it. And if it's the opposite, you do what Greg and Melissa et al do and use their voices to indicate opposite.

Probably shouldn't have used his last three words to shout letters. Yes, in context, we know what it means but an outsider thinks he's referring to another letter. He should have taken a second and realized he needed to say "test" or "class" or "school" or as Meredith points out, "A-plus, test" or "B-minus, school."

@@aralarem "Wireless" for "bluetooth"? When I think of "bluetooth," I think of a device in your ear. That's how it got its name 'cause the light glows blue. So "wireless ear device," but she kept talking about the technology as a whole. Of course her clues were great; she's Melissa. But I don't think she was really fighting for them to win. She probably bonded with the previous team the game before.

That’s not how Bluetooth got its name either. It’s named for a Danish king who united fractious tribes, meant to evoke the way Bluetooth allowed devices to communicate easily. The logo is based on a rune representing his initials. It’s nothing at all to do with a blue light when you use a certain device.
