Somebody told me once I was too old to actually like cartoons though I’m 38 I turned 39 this year so I don’t feel so alone when I talk to these people in the Internet my boyfriend said I’m not too old he said people watch it at older age too because I like to watch all the stuff I grew up watching you I grew up watching stuff. Even some of those cartoons were out before I was born but I still watched them. I never watched them back in the 90s, I loved the cartoons
After Captain Cold freezes the light fixture, Cheetah scratches the table with her claws, and Solomon Grundy punches a hole in it, Lex Luthor:"Dammit, we just built this headquarters and you're already wrecking it! The damages are coming out of your share of the loot we steal!"
I’m going to disagree with you there because Justice League , Justice League Unlimited, and Batman the Animated Series all had awesome intros. Don’t get me wrong this stands out as the OG cartoon but it’s intro is great for the time it existed.
I love that even as evil as the Legion of Doom is, they seem content with the idea that they will share the universe among the thirteen, no one is trying to get rid of the other twelve!...and they always seem intent on stealing all the wealth, as if they were intent on buying something super expensive! LOL
"As you know, during last week's meeting, I, criminal mastermind Lex Luthor, was attempting to categorize each of your evil and insidious super powers. Let me show you my diabolical findings." Captain Cold - Saves on A/C bills during the summer. Sinestro - Friggin' purple. PURPLE. Bizarro - Superman but dumb. Solomon Grundy - Super smells like soured ass. Cheetah - Pajamas maybe? Brainiac - Super almost naked. Black Manta - Ok, who the hell invited this guy? Seriously. Call security and get him out of here. Gorilla Grodd - Naked monkey balls. Toyman - No comment. The Riddler - Edward, STOP giving away all of our plans to Batman! Do you understand? Giganta - Can you go and grow over there? Right there. That's it, stay just like that... Scarecrow - Super flammable. And finally, I Lex Luthor, with my powers of super baldness and incredibly snappy fashion sense! With these powers, we shall CRUSH the Super Friends! Also, STOP DESTROYING ALL OF OUR STUFF AT EVERY MEETING! Most of our evil budget goes into replacing tables and lamps because of you morons!
Fun fact: scarecrow wasn’t shown using his fear toxin because the other members of the Legion of doom were supposed to be goofy because the show was meant for children
1978 the year I got into Superheroes, Superman being my favorite. 1978 had Superman the Movie the same year. I had the action figures along with comics.
Man, growing up in the 70s - We had it all when it came to TV entertainment , especially cartoons and sci-fi! Hana Barbera made the very best in cartoons!
If there’s one question I have is how come Martian Manhunter was never on the Super Friends? He was one of the seven founding members of the Justice League. Thankfully, the 2000s Justice League show featured him.
Yeah I think the only ones who did were Giganta, Bizarro, Sinestro, Grundy, and Grodd. Captain Cold, Brainiac, Luthor, Black Manta, etc. just have gadgets and poor Cheetah doesn't have anything. Then you have someone like the Riddler whose special ability is helping the good guys defeat his plans.
The Joker was supposed to be a member of the Legion Of Doom but they couldn't use him due to Filmation having the rights to use him for the New Adventures Of BATMAN cartoon
Imagine of both Green Arrow and Hawkgirl also battled the Legion of Doom. Alan Oppenheimer would've voiced Green Arrow, while Janet Waldo would voice Hawkgirl, as she did, later in The Superfriends' long 13 yr. run!!!
My Saturday morning cartoons were pretty dope though sonic x justice league and justice league unlimited Ben 10 and a shitton more I also remember pbs kids mornings shows for Sunday cartoons
@@anitabonghit7606You grew up in an era that was based on cable. Saturday mornings for 70's and early 80's kids only revolved around the 3 main networks:. ABC, CBS and NBC . I guarantee they had more cartoons in that era than the one you speak of.
Because Filmation had the rights. That's why the Joker and the Penguin were shown on the New Adventures of Batman in 1977 but Hanna-Barbera could not use the characters.
