This is a completely random thought, but I really wish more NFS games had drift events where everyone was on the course at the same time. While drifting on your own makes setting records more consistent and all, it doesn't really feel like your competition is more than just some arbitrary numbers. The only games I can think of that actually took this approach were Underground 2 and NFS 2015, so I hope this style of drifting comes back in a future _Need for Speed_ (it can also be alongside the drifting style shown here, that's cool too).
I guess it was, and probably still is hard to code the AI to properly drift. At least in PS, Online included (and technically still includes) Tandem Drifts where racers drift on pairs together on the track.
Half way there, you got this If you're doing Grip next then be wary of Rudy Chen, it's like he should be the Grip King instead of Ray Krieger with how good he can be even if you have a fully modified car

Tip for drifting: if you mid turn step off the throttle and almost immediately accelerate again and do this like 2 or 3 times you are able to drift faster
If the your G35 was yellow, it would be perfect for a "Sonic: Adventure 2 drift battle" Aki is the final boss red and green and you would be super sonic :D but good video and drifts anyway
For me this boss was the easiest. The docks was definitely the biggest pain in the ass tho. You have to take that first big corner super wide so you don’t hit the inside wall
The amount of Eurobeat really makes bang my head while watching that G35 going sideways, and 2 more kings (and queen) to beat before Ryo Watanabe lost his crown.
