Amazing informative video so much lack of information out there on these particular kids right on toys. Thank you so much for taking time to make such a helpful informative quality video.
Just an FYI for any parents trying to assemble one of these, they wouldn’t let me comment on the actual jeep assembly but to let you know on some of these models the rear axle spacer is inside the wheel already so you don’t have to put it in yourself. Hope this helps.
Why not just slap in a couple of car batteries in the rear back there? You would have 4 or 5 times the capacity and I would assume batteries that have a longer lifetime as they would not be working as hard. But thank you for a detailed video showing the original setup. Much appreciated as I considering buying one of these for my kid.
So for the price of this vehicle the battery is crap! I replaced my kids with a lithium conversion. Lasts a lot longer and speed are a little faster. Upgrading the esc and receiver soon! The servo gears are plastic as well very disappointing. Replacing those as well. 700$ needing 500 in upgrades to make it BA lol.
I wasn't sure if the price for lithium batteries was worth the investment. I am shocked that these devices have lasted as we approach the 3rd summer season.
Thanks for your video! Are these no-break batteries? My neighbor told me they replaced them for motorcycle ones and since than they had no more issues.
Just bought but only thing im concerned with is that it only uses the the full 24v with remote but when manually used it runs half its speed. Is that the same case with you?
I would say that front axle may be tweaked a little. I know when mine I arrived and I assembled it, the motor mount tabs in the front were bent so i had to straighten them back up
I cannot find an answer to this, does anyone know…. when the battery runs out when my child’s ride on SX1928 is blocks away from home, can I push it home? Will this do any damage? A big car has a neutral setting and can be pushed, but I’m not sure if it is advisable to push one of these little electric battery cars. Thank you for any help.
I have 1.5 acres of land which can create distance once dead. They do not seem to have a neutral when I push them back. This is the 3rd summer season of ownership and they still operate as normal.
That I am not sure of. I would assume the fuses would limit that as well as the motors are limited by the volts. I have a Barbie Jeep that is a 12v power wheels where I used the 24v battery from another riding toy. I must say it ran without issue and had more power.
