He juked all spells. TALIYAH fires her Q in a straight line from the champion so he stood behind minions and only took basic attack damage. Also the presence of mind a skill to finish it with his Q from range instead of going for an auto attack.

You seem confused, so let me help break this down for you with in-game timers: 8:30 Diana sees top lane are both low health/low mana and both are trying to shove the wave in to recall since neither have TP up, so she goes up to help Sion shove the wave in. She also has red buff and has come off a fresh base with a hextech alternator and a dark seal, so she does damage. After she helps Sion clear the wave, Taliyah uses her R and flash to try to kill Diana but she just gets outplayed. Even if Diana dies here, Hwei was already rotating to clean up the kill and K'Sante loses a wave and a half of exp. 10:40 Varus, Karma, and Taliyah are planning on tower diving Blitzcrank/Zeri, but Diana is again fresh off base with a full Lichbane and Taliyah doesn't have her item yet and she showed on vision. Counterganking with Hwei showing his intention to rotate is very high percentage--not coinflip at all. 11:09 Taliyah and Karma are dead, Lucian has no mana, so it's safe to start the dragon. 11:34 Hwei gets prio as Lucian is walking back from base and Blitz is following Diana so she pings grubs. If Taliyah shows up they have numbers advantage. Diana gets another kill while her camps are starting to respawn--Lucian gets a double kill but Diana lives and keeps her dark seal stacks and gets to farm her camps. 12:10 Zeri is mid and Blitz is pathing to top straight out of base. Zeri has ult, Sion has ult, and Sion can recall to buy a full item and TP to the fight. They will have numbers advantage--not a coinflip play. They get a few of the grubs and the tower dive/shutdown on Varus. 14:00 K'sante is bot and Lucian is top, the other 3 enemies are trying to siege mid. Blitz positions nicely to catch one of them in Diana's raptor pit. Free kill, not coinflip. 14:20 K'Sante was last seen bot with no TP, Lucian is recalling on vision. Numbers advantage in top river = free rift herald, not coinflip. 14:57 Blitz and Diana are top side and Sion pings his R is up in 8 seconds, the wave is slow pushing to Lucian, and he pings on the way/dive. Free and easy dive knowing Taliyah's top camps are down so she's probably bot side. Easy kill, free turret, not coinflip. 16:47 Blitz overextends and dies before dragon, but Diana drops rift herald mid. Enemy has to either answer the rift herald or fight the dragon and lose mid turret. Not coinflip. 17:20 Diana decides to take this fight because she is full health, has ult, has numbers advantage, and has item advantage on most of the enemy team. Also if she dies here, all her camps are down and there are no objectives up so they lose nothing. They kill Taliyah and Varus. No real coinflip. 18:20 there is planty of vision in bot jungle, ADC, support and top laner is bot side, it's safe to invade and take krugs. Not coinflip. 19:44 Hwei is pushing top tier 2, Blitz is in top river, we see Karma/Taliyah bot. Safe to invade top jungle, clear vision, and pressure baron not coinflip. 20:50 PLENTY of vision in enemy top jungle, safe to re-invade, nets a free kill on Lucian with Diana ult. Not coinflip. 21:08 Red team has full top side jungle control and top prio. Hwei is catching bot wave and has TP. Free baron. Not coinflip. 22:14 Teammates are pressuring mid inhib with baron buff, free scuttle and dragon. Not coinflip. 23:30 Next objective is bot tier 2, Blitz walks away for some reason but Diana is covering Zeri who overextends and blows her flash. Blitz is coming back, Diana knows she is stronger than Varus (item advantage and she is level 15 while Varus is 13) and E's into Varus and ults. Easy kill, free turret, not coinflip. 24:00 Diana is less than half HP and should recall, but still has baron buff and Sion is pressuring top inhib. She can go for bot inhib turret. Lucian has no MR and is at level and item disadvantage compared to Diana despite being healthy. Free kill, has Zhonya's, easy turrets, not coinflip. 24:14 easy kill on underleveled Taliyah with numbers advantage. 25:00 greeds tempo to get gold to finish Deathcap. No objectives spawning soon, not coinflip. HUGE power spike. Diana's team gets to siege their base with a 7k gold advantage and it's gg. Hope this helps you see it wasn't all coinflip!

Late response but its not unusual to not back right after first clear in high elo games. That's one of those rules you follow while learning and eventually learn the exceptions. In this case while she's doing top scuttle the top blue vision plant is used to check river, since sion is in lane she knows 100% its Taliyah. This tells her that tali also went bot>top meaning bot scuttle is still alive, so instead of backing she moves to take it as well. Her mid pushes and uses that prio to position to prevent the enemy from attempting a steal. Getting a double scuttle like this not only gives vision advantage but also sets the jungler up to hit lvl 6 at void grubs. The experience from it makes it so after 2nd clear if you get solo xp on the first grub you hit 6. If the enemy jungler doesn't beat you there you now have ult advantage making it unlikely they can win a fight over the remaining grubs. Diana didn't hit 6 from first grub because hwei came to help and got the last hit on the grub so xp was shared. The reason she didn't back after 2nd scuttle is because with her bot side spawning she would have delayed her later camp respawns had she not done them on spawn, lowering her gpm and delaying future power spikes. Really really bad thing to do on a carry jungle like Diana. The drag call was a calculated move. They had complete vision control guaranteeing she would see any enemies coming in time to back off and survive. They had bot prio until blitz died as well. At that point with the tali near and being at number disadvantage due to blitz death she backed off. She did see a loss in efficiency from this since she could have backed and farmed top side in that time but had she killed drag that early it would have been a big boost just from the how much the xp is worth at her lvl. And again, due to vision control she was 100% safe from being killed. Another point is that after blitz died, with tali being there and lucian pushing gaining mid prio there is no way in hell they don't take drag regardless of Diana. Had she backed and cleared top the enemy still would have gotten it. Calculated gamble with minimal potential loss and big potential gains There is a great reply under yamishawtys comment breaking down basically every decision make after the 7 minute mark showing just how much thought went into what diana was doing .
