Rammus is farming for bami to get faster clears in early game bc there wasn't really a better alternative. The opportunity cost in ganking other lanes is kind of high considering Talon can stealth run away and Akali has ez escape. You could argue he could've ganked anyways but then he loses on tempo while being behind on farm, and his goal is to rush thornmail so he's ready for midgame. Beyond that, enemy bot lane also played their lane correctly by freezing/hugging turret which makes ganking just as difficult. Win con here is to farm safely and capitalize only on ganks with 99+% success rate -- you want to avoid falling behind. For mid game, you grab objectives with your team, which should be pretty easy to secure since you're rammus -- your high mobility and taunt allows you to pick off enemies and win fights. Basically if you can secure soul + grab barons, the game is pretty much won.

@@jiankuang2608 that makes a lot of sense but i feel like in the lower ranked tiers the teammates you get will have fed their lane and blame you for not helping at all up to that point lol at least half the time.
