Dear Ruth, very well put! I'm a german women doing an Ausbildung and all the Studends are the age of my grown up kids. So I have my difficulties too. I have to new friends in class both a little older and non native german. Some times we have the same challenges, some times different ones, but language makes it really extra hard for them sometimes. My advice to everyone: Do not be shy and ask the hell out of every one! The teachers (usually they do not want you to fail) the fellow studends ( you soon will know who will help and is capable to do so) if some one is offering help- take it. Start your homework as early as possible (so some one can help you with out running out of time) and check for RU-vid tutorials to topics from shool. Once one has the new specific language of that field everythig gets better! Hang in there!
Exactly I tried to ask everything from my schoolmates and they were very helpful and we still have contact upto date. Thank you so much for watching, I really appreciate
@@ruthqym5906 please i don't know what i want to do with my life but i am learning German and i want to do the Ausbildung but i don't know which Ausbildung i want to go for but i don't really fancy nursing at all but i think i want to try anything that is connected to the tech industry please any advice on how to get ausbildung in germany
Watched a few of your videos. You do a very smart and brilliant analysis of live here and Germans. Also enjoy your positive attitude. About the prejudgement it happens among Germans too. When you are new somewhere there is always someone who don't like you or don't think you can do it. Like everywhere in life to do your job good and don't give up will lead to success. In general my opinion is that Germans have a certain way and when you show them that you accept and respect that way, bring in effort you will be fine. There will be always some foreigners that think its discrimination or racism or whatever. The few racist / idiot people you can ignore, focus on the positive and show you do your best. Germany offer so many opportunities for people that don't give up, that want to achieve something. Always happy when people go their way and have a life of self responsibility. Don't listen to the negative - foreigners and Germans, that just drag you down. Focus on the light and the good. Keep going with your video. :)
I can relate so well to everything you just said. I am now during the 7th month of the Ausbildung and at first everyone avoided me because I was a foreigner. After the first round of Klassenarbeiten and getting to know me they started to open up a bit but not completely. I honestly want to give up everyday. I sometimes feel like I am living the worse nightmare but I try not to give up. I also have a child and that makes it even harder but luckily my husband is very supportive. Your tips and experience are very encouraging. Thank you for that!
Hey Alexandra, please don’t give up always think about the fruits of your hard work and yes the 1 st year is always the hardest but stay focused and avoid negative vibes
@@Clauronica I am happy my message was an encouragement. Now in my 3rd year and already started slowly to get ready for the final exams. I can tell you that time makes things easier but you will always face new challenges. What I have learned over the past couple of years is that difficulties will only make you stronger, bolder, wiser. Keep it up, you can only win from such an experience!
I think we African doing Ausbildung in Germany also need Facebook group to be able to help each other like the Philippine people did . I have the same difficulties.
Uwee I was excluded at first.... now wananitafuta. I pray and work hard like crazy. I'm about to finish my child care nurse( Kindergarten). In a few weeks I'm done. It's also an advantage to have the smartest person in class as your friend too. Especially when they see you give 💯%.
This was so helpful, I will be starting my Ausbildung as a PflegeFachfrau in February next year.I already got a place and am looking forward to putting your advice in action. Thank you.👏🏾
Thank you dear, I started my Ausbildung in Pflegefachkraft on Monday and I felt the language barrier and I thought of just dropping but something told me to search a video about it but this has helped me. Thank you
This is a brilliant and real life analysis. How can I love this Viedo over and over again. You spoke to the soul of many. Do you have other ther videos like this that is base on over coming and handling challenges in nursing school and most especially in praxis

Yes language is hard to learn but we don’t have to give up. Practical part and theoretical part can also be really hard. . Great video sis , God richly bless you 🥰😍🥰😍😍happy Valentine’s Day sis
Thank you dear for all the update about Ausibildung... Kindly share what specialities can be done in the Ausibildung stage and the benefits please! I'm eager to know much about it because I need to come there fully informed!
Hi Ruth, Appreciate it so much for sharing, your content is very informative ! A little questions here and hopefully I could get your advice, How would the salary be after finishing in Ausbildung, let's say in IT ? And is it enough to have a good living there for a couple with 2 children ? Many thanks again and keep up the great work !
Thanks for your encouragement. This is exactly what I am passing through...Facing challenges in both school and at work..The only black in my class and place of work..Not easy at all.The Fachbegriff in German is mad.very complicated...The way I am reading here never read like that when I was in Nigeria..bcos of the language.....but we shall overcome!
This is very encouraging.as mother's going to school n taking care of ur duties is really challenging.yea d first year is easier. Read n read u will get dere👍👍tfs
Hi Ruth I have real learnt a lot from this video and very strong to do it.But I have question for u Ruth I have a friend in Germany now doing Au pairing but she didn’t study the A level education in her country she Stopped in O level education .So will she be able to do nursing without this A level certificate?
Hey dear thanks a lot for watching, she can do the Ausbildung but for 3 years first year as a helper and then then after she can do 3 years to become a registered nurse
Learning in a language you don't master is certainly not easy. I just don't understand, you can read all subject-specific topics immediately online, in all languages. When I did my apprenticeship there was no internet at all. It was not that easy to get specialist information. We usually asked an experienced colleague for advice when we didn't know something and at some point you are the experienced colleague who is asked for advice.
We did biology in school as well and most of the things were familiar to us but putting them down in good grammatical german was a challenge, but thanks God we made it
Hi Ruth, thank you for this Video. This is my story: last year i applied for a Ausbildung, was invited to interview and offered the position, i got a contract, a health insurance, and anmeldung zur Berufschule, with all these i applied for working permit, l filled the form which were given, but my application was rejected on reason that a priority is given first to EU Citizens, and me being a non EU i do not have to take that position.
Hey Merian, oh no if I may ask which Bundesland was it because I understand some are not so good when it comes to foreigners. How did it go did you try again?
My dream was shuttered in just two weeks. And that position was never occupied. So i went to a lawyer for advice and that legal advisor told me straight, that they will not give permission to someone like me for the Industriekauffrau Ausbildung. I will have a chance only if i take positions like Altenpflegerin and Gebäude Reinigung.
My German is quite good up to C1 level, so actually i know that experience of others trying to put you down because of being a foreigner. I have 10 Years experience working in a German company in Africa, so i know how it can be. So this year, i tried to apply again because since March the Vorrangprüfung was taken off by law. But unfortunately the same company refused to give me a second chance. It is hard here seriously
Yes the Voluntary work(FSJ) is very important to learn and interact with the different cultural group, you are right one have to talk even though the language is basic and not perfect otherwise people will end up undermining you, aki I recall those day’s I have learned a lot especially being excluded since one is foreign. Resilience is everything one have to be strong to go through these challenges. It’s was not easy but we made it. Yes the demonic spirit is there, don’t drop out, tell them.
Anybody can help me plz I have done post graduation in humanities in class 10 th I had science I am 31 am I eligible to do ausbuldung being a foreigner assist
Am soooooo happy to hear this, just started my ausbildung and am going through almost everything that you are talking about, just recently ou teacher asked something on communication, we wrote some papers on our understanding about the topic and she shared the papers to us differently, that means one should not receive his/her paper, guess what, i got one with Information ....ok was like now how will i discuss information with communication 🙈 sorry maybe i always complicate things. will be following your channel gal
You get one more chance to re-do the paper that you failed. When you fail the second time then you are cancelled from doing the same Ausbildung but can start a new Ausbildung in another field.
Hallo ma'am... Love your video. Very motivating. Please am planning on coming to Germany through Ausbildung. But have an issue that borders me. Am a mum of 3 and married. Am coming alone to Germany for the Ausbildung program then later apply for them to come join me. Please is it possible to apply for them to come join me in Germany during my Ausbildung program and if yes at what year will I start to apply?
Hi Janai, it will not be possible during the 3 years of Ausbildung but after the school you’ll get a job and an apartment big enough to accommodate them and that’s when you can apply a family reunion visa. During the Ausbildung you have 30 days holiday per year and you can use it to visit your family back home.
Hello dear i am also a mum of 4 children planning to go to Germany next year can i be your friend and help me understand the experience since you are going be4 me
Life would be so boring without challenges...life lacks growth without challenges...so bring it on! I've never experienced being put down by Germans because of the language...Germans actually love to hear foreigners try to speak German
