Challenges in Forage Production in Kenya 

Many farmers lack training in forage production and access to improved seed varieties. The quality of forage is low and forage is not sufficiently available year-round, and as a result dairy productivity is very low. The Kenya Nourishing Prosperity Alliance is providing training for growing nutrient-dense and sufficient quantity of a variety of forages, and here interviews a participating farmer at Elburgon Dairy Cooperative in Kenya.
