I had a great conversation with a lady from Butka, a small town in rural Russia. No jobs, lack of opportunites, Yet they're not giving up! Love the spirit! #Russiancountryside Please consider supporting me on Patreon - / russianplus
My father is 87 now and MANY times repeat the same words as old lady Zoya Konstantinovna : " You know it was difficult but it was a lot of fun. People were cheerful!!!" However,it's hard to explain to someone who lived "on the West"...it doesn't matter the REGIME!!! The WARMTH of Slavic people stay the same until now...👍
A huge thank you from British Columbia, Canada for showing us your beautiful country. We all need to see & appreciate comments from regular Russian people. Keep up the great work.
Greetings from Russia!!! We have pretty similar landscapes in Russia and Canada. I watched a few vlogs about Canada and I felt like “hey, we have such woods and such lakes, too!” Our planet is just amazing!!!
That is so humble, that an ordinary citizen gets to live in Boris Yeltsin's childhood house. It looks like an ordinary town and ordinary house, how humble. The Russian villagers are so humble and friendly! I'm glad alot of them are Christians since I am Christian too! Amen! :)
Hi, it is great learning more about Russia. A very beautiful place. Pity life is so tough for country folks. Governments world wide seem incapable of helping the economy of their countries.
Firstly, what a great group of tour guides you have )))). Misha is an adorable kid 🙂. How wonderful that Miss Zoya was able to give us such an interesting description of life in this village. As you've mentioned in other videos, these ridiculously low pensions are a problem for elder Russians. The garden growing prowess of Russian People never ceases to amaze me.....Grapes even! Maybe that bleached out fence reflects extra light and heat and is a good wind block too. Thanks for another great video 👍🙂.
Another awesome video. You, again remind me my beloved country RUSSIA 🇷🇺. One day will come back. Insha Allah. Nice country, friendly people, like my own country. Miss you a lot RUSSIANS.
Wow Im watching from New Zealand - which is far away lol. I was in Russian in 2007 on a missions trip singing and honestly I was so blessed by the hospitality of the Russian people. The food is the most amazing I have ever tasted and the loyalty is beyond words. I'm native of New Zealand - Maori and I totally loved my time in Russia. It will always have a place in my heart - even though my country is so different. I can relate on so many levels and seeing the countryside reminds me of all the stories my Nan (Grandma) use to tell me. Anyways I've always loved Russia based on my own experience visiting. Once you have a Russian friend its for life and thats hard to come by these days.
That's right! I've been friends with a Russian man since we were almost babies...always kept in touch...then finally came when we became more. We started seeing each other this past November...got married on Valentine's Day!! We now live in Florida...met each other in Virginia 48 years ago.
Friend Slava, another classic, thank you for sharing. I enjoy the interviews with Russian people. I am encouraged by the lady who chose to speak with you. When opportunity presents itself with prospective interviewees you might let them know they are sharing the loving soul of the Russian people and we love to hear what they have to say. The country is beautiful.
Fantastic i love that. She is going to bring some changes in their community she is a mother of love . she cares for others i love that. God blessed her and this village.
Another great video. A wonderful insight into real russian life, o that lovely ol lady bless her ,the salt of the earth! I.enjoy these so much. Thank you.
Stunning views! That drone was worth every ruble. :D The "flower spot" reminds me of the bluebonnets in Texas. When the bluebonnets are in flower you will see the sides of the road covered with people taking pictures. I love the views of the garden and the old-world architecture. Thanks for sharing!
Great video. I really enjoyed the interview with the resident there, to get her perspective. The issues are very similar to smaller communities in the U.S. The young people must usually leave, in order to get an education, and secure employment.
Your video tours are so educational and a pleasure to watch. They have opened my eyes to many things I did not know about your country. I am glad you have such a beautiful family. The villages you carry us to are very colorful and friendly. I am glad I found your channel
Wonderful interview, the home town people know so much and are friendly. This tour was like being there and the sun set was beautiful. I just found your channel and I'm so glad I did. Thank you so much.
The older generation of Russia and post Soviet republics says the Soviet period was better and they had everything during those period. There were industries everywhere those times. The current generation holds different opinion. If you travel through thosr republics, you can see many abandoned factories after collapse of Soviet union. I am Indian, but I have traveled and interacted a lot through these countries.
Whoa, Slava...great video! 1) You showed us a map...very important 2) excellent interview with the older woman! She had interesting things to say and you let her say them 3) beautiful drone shots 4) great combination of your personal everyday experience plus historical interest...the info on the manufacturer guy was REALLY interesting 5) You identified all the people who appeared in the video. You videos are really good and getting better. This is your best one yet.
Misha is so cute! 😘 And your mum is a very good cameraman! 😊 It is so sad that there is no work in the countryside, and people have to rush to big cities, live in a hurry and stress... Our people are hard-working, they like to live in a feeling of unity and friendship. Our true Russian spirit is in the Russian countryside. It is sad that it is dying... My good friend has grandparents in Bykovo, a small Russian town, half-town - half-village, they say, that when they were young, there was everything there - a club, a hospital, even a college, and a small factory... Young specialists could come there and get a private house of a flat in two-stored apartment blocks from the government, all of them had their own gardens and even small farms with rabbits and hens. Children were born, families used to live in friendship and cheerfulness. Now everything is abandoned there. The hospital was closed, the college doesn`t work anymore... All the youth has left the town. But Talitsa looks really good and developing! I hope it is really so! I love such small towns! And I really love the Russian countryside. The forests filmed by the drone are fantastic!
Thank you so much Rusalka for taking the time to write this comment! Absolutely agree with you. It's sad and beautiful at the same time. I hope things change for the better for these folks. I wish I could help in some way.
When I was a kid in Saskatchewan my folks stored produce in the cellar, which was a dug out under the house. I can relate to Russia in many ways. I really liked seeing Yeltsin's old home. Thanks for showing us a bit of Russia. Always interesting.
thanks a lot your videos make me love not only the Russian countries but also all the russian culture and russian people mentality . I am egyptian and got this feeling that the people have a common things with us , the kind women who talk about her sons looks like the moms in egypt she has the same care and thoughts . perhaps your trips around russian was the reason why i started to learn russian berfor 4 monthes , its not easy language ,more difficult than english and german :) :) after this crazy story about corona i dream to move with my family to one of these beautiful russian countries , when it possible
👏👏 A few days ago I asked my dad if in our Russian city called Kaliningrad, we have such villages "as my grandmother lived" (with geese, ducks, cows). He laughed for so long and told me that we haven’t ... 🤔🤷♀️ But, as I see a lot around Yekaterinburg, it’s so cool! I feel such a warm feeling when I see these places ... virtual come back to the times when I was little and visited my grandmother there ...❤️🌸
That was a marvelous conversation with the woman. You are so comfortable to talk to that people open up to you. The woman said she was not afraid to say what she did. You are very honest in your comments... but as an American, it is so important to hear from people.
I am fascinated by your videos. They are a wonderful view into Russia and getting to understand Russians. I am particularly interested in your portrayal of ties to the soil (vegetable and flower gardens), desire to be self-reliant and most of all the role of food and the importance of sharing a meal. Thanks.
Thanks for showing us Talitsa, a beautiful town in Russia. How nice of the lady to come out and speak with you about things in her city. I really like the museum building and the homes with gardens. Russian people really know how to live well even without the help of the government. They are real survivors and I wish them all the best.
I really enjoyed this video! I really want to see the people in the countryside have great opportunities for work. In the last few yrs the US got a lot of jobs back & we will keep moving forward. Like the Russian lady said, "I rely on God, solely". It is my continued belief that God has awesome things for all those people who want to live in the beautiful Russian countryside & be healthy & very happy there!! May His blessings be on you all, always!!
We live like almost all the people around the world. We play when we’re kids, we go to schools, to the colleges and universities, we love, we laugh, we cry, we go to work, we get married, we go to other cities or other countries. Many of us are happy enough.
Your friend's mom live in a 3 story building, yet they get to have their own garden and storage too, very nice eh..Country side living is nice, not populated, there are greeneries, somehow there are also some downside to it.Just like the lady you talked to,she poured out her frustrations, but she has faith(God)bless her heart..Sun set was beautiful...
Slava, Great video. Have enjoyed your videos for quite a while now. The videos are informative and with a great touch of the personal. The drone footage brings a whole new perspective, which is great! Thanks.
M. Words and was alert and very conversational, she would be speaking very close to what my language would have been if my ancestors hadn’t moved fro the Czech Republic to the USA..
Great video! Lets me travel for free. It's all the little details that makes it so interesting. They say it's the details that makes a great novel and apparently that goes for videos also. By the way, I can tell by hearing the birds that it is still an unpolluted place.
Nice work Slava! The older Russian woman isn't afraid to speak her mind. I really admire that. The countryside is beautiful and your drone flying images are amazing. Take care my friend and give my best to your family also.
Thank You for another Great video. Russian people are friend and warm. I appreciate that you take the time to show us the Reality of Life in all your videos. I will share. Thank You.
Many Russian vloggers like to show their daily life for people from other countries to know how we live here. Because we show our real life, not like it’s been shown in American movies.
