Welcome to Darwin! 😂 From the English parts, I can share my thoughts (I've lived in Darwin since 2008 and am still here) Midgies, etc, now add this to your fishing trip where you are in the elements and the humidity but have to wear gloves, hat, long pants, a buff etc to protect yourself from the sun's rays. Yes accommodation is expensive but was worse during Impex. We also have freight costs for goods which adds to the cost of items such as food, cars, boats, etc It's not the fact that there are less electricians and other tradies, it's the items which need to be shipped which takes the time. It costs a lot of money for small business owners to pay for products then store them if and when a customer needs it. Also deterioration rates are high for some products if stored for a long time. Tradies don't have a massive wearhouse down the road that they can access products. This is why it takes time. There was talk about big department stores such as Myers coming to Darwin but this didn't eventuate. Also what needs to be considered is that clothes tend not to last that long here due to the extreme humidity. No point buying expensive clothes when they don't last. You've missed the mark as to the reason why cafes and restaurants are expensive. Not because it's a tourist place, the owners need to pay for food (which also contains freight), wages (which have increased since covid), GST, taxes and the extra superannuation on wages which is mandatory. Also as there is a shortage of staff, paying staff extra amount of wages as an incentive is to entice retention of staff. I agree with safety. It use to be very safe here even at night but over the years the crime has increased and even I don't feel safe anymore. A tip when parking your car, please remove valuables (like you said) and keep your glove box open (as if to show there is nothing there). This video was created in June 2022? You spent 2 months in Darwin by that stage...would love to see what your comments are during our wet season 😂 Great video 🙂

Hi ma'am, i applied for mpa(masters in professional accounting) program in CDU..My agency told that i can't take that course. Because for that program we need to do some diploma courses in order to get admission..We couldn't get admission directly..Is that right?

I would like to study in cdu professional accouting but people says its really hard becuase u need to work for fees so doing accounting is much harder than other courses
