THE MASS DEFENDED: An analysis of the propaganda and misinformation found in ‘The Mass of the Ages’ Episode 2. A MUST WATCH for Catholics wanting to find a straight path through the liturgical confusions besetting the Church right now.
Correction A: At 15:50 min the slide should read "7th century - Agnus Dei inserted by Pope Sergius I", appearing in Ordo Romanus I (which is dated between 687 - 750AD.
Addition A: The purpose of the graph showed at 2:28 min is to counter the false impression given in MOTA Ep. 2 that the Protestant churches did not see a decrease after the 1970's (they used USA 'mega church' statistics in MOTA Also see the Home page of latinmass.com). This graph is about many religious church attendance in the USA, and shows that the change in the Catholic Liturgy obviously had little or no impact on religious service attendance.

WHY THIS REVIEW?
Like many Catholics of various persuasions, we have seen the movie 'Mass of the Ages', parts 1 and 2. We have felt the need to contribute to the tsunami of discussion surrounding this movie. It is our hope that the Reviews will be useful in dissolving some of the painful conflict troubling the Church around the issue of the Sacred Liturgy.
