Men are often deprived of having their sincere struggles recognized as valid and detrimental to them. This is primarily because men are viewed as "the problem" in society, and therefore any struggle they go through is inconsequential.

This was soo good it felt like a 10 minute intro. I think apart from the deeply complex issues such as having been abused by a man or woman, the problem lies in how we approach each other. I am of the opinion that sometimes we take one quality/aspect of our lives and we over identify with it. For instance, my gender is not the only thing that makes me who I am, there are a lot of other things that makes us human however, we tend to take this one part of who we are and use it to filter everything in our lives such as the sports we play, the songs we listen, the people we befriend as well as our relations with the opposite gender. I think if we were to broaden our identity from predominantly woman/man, maybe we would be able to interact with others and create meaningful connections. The same applies to the issue of religion and churches, so many of us refuse to interact with other people from other churches because we have made that a huge part of our identity and cannot see beyond this. I think Ursula was right to say the problem is we are so fixated on the norm so much that we cannot even begin to think about the unconventionals.

The manosphere initially was meant as a space for men's improvement. This came about as a realisation that many boys and indeed men were raised by women and were having a lot of trouble navigating this life and dealing with issues peculiar to men. At its purest form I'm all for it and it helped me a lot in embracing my own masculinity. It has gone through a lot of phases and in its current form I doubt even man follow it (its mostly boys, teens and younger men seeking guidance). Unfortunately like many good things in the world it has been hijacked mostly for profit contrary to popular belief most of those guys know their cat whistles are not for any fundamental philosophy but good ol fashion clickbait and monetisation. Its nothing more than a grift...good old fashion conning. Im sure sure you guys probably came across a video which came out recently which showed one of the Godfathers of this called Sneako meeting his 11 year old fans and the filth that came from their mouth. That is the current target audience of the 'manosphere,' impressionable young boys and men and studies have been realised about its impact in that demography. Its a ticking time bomb!

While some advocate for equality, others lean towards asserting their supremacy. It's challenging to definitively determine which perspective is 'right' because the reception of either varies. Nonetheless, I value the idea of having balanced conversations that respect individual differences without imposing on one another. The 'enemy' isn't the other gender. lol.

Shuuuuu such an important conversation. We honestly need to have more of these as a society. We're not enemies truly. We need each other as men and women.

If historically, women where held in such high esteem as men, men would not be having issues embracing feminine principles like opening up about their feelings or crying. The feminine being has never been given any kind of glory historically, therefore being a woman or feminine is nothing to write home about. Thus masculinity as a principle has been designed to be as far away from femininity as possible. Because we all want to be associated with significance. If the masculine and feminine energies where both held in high regard, respectively without comparison, then men would not be judged on how masculine or feminine they are. It simply wouldn’t be factor or it would be equally embraced. Now the issue is, we still embrace concepts such as “women are weak, men are strong.” With that in mind no man would want to embrace any principle associated with being a woman because it would equal weakness. Men are strong in their own respect and Women are strong in their own respect.

I love watching this kind of videos, like no more than 1 min of them, as they remind me of the type of men I should strive not to act, talk, or be like. They're the epitome of weak, female lead, men. The dude literally said: protecting your women is toxic masculinity. LMFAO. God help you!

Lol but that’s what women want. A strong and financially well off man. We have been constantly left for men with more, rightfully so, women are hypergamous. But as we grow to accept this as men, we then set our standards. As a woman, are you gorgeous? are you youthful? Can you cook? Can you clean? etc. ina ethe.

Hey Ursula. I've seen that many men don't get power dynamics between each other and women. Women struggle with this too. We live in a world of double speech and infinite interpretation. Women ask men to open up not realizing that what they really want is emotional security. Men do this and punish women for their own instability. Seriously, would you open up to a bottled up broke boy? Hell no. Why not? He will financially abuse you when he gets his things together. There is no home in this man. It is easy to catch on to this nonsense. On the other hand, abusive men get all the benefits that supposedly "good men" (who really are gaslighting cowards) want. More often than not this abusive one creates a trauma response with their partner while playing a safe fatherlike role. It's like being addicted to getting more tattoos. It always hurts but you end up wanting more. What I'm ultimately saying is the masculinity and redpill nonsense is really from a lack of understanding of power dynamics and their roles in our lives.

There is nothing wrong with being strong, having money, being influential, winning with women, protecting women, understanding sexual market place dynamics, risking your life for the betterment of children, civilization and women. Manosphere is about helping men to practically understand their worth and purpose. And arpund 55 percent of males use youtube. The 80 percent figure is stretched brother.
