What an exciting first encounter with a male Jackson's Chameleon! I was filming the scenery when my friend spotted this reptile in trouble! He was attempting to cross the river on his own (he must have fallen from a tree) and after a dramatic rescue, he remained calm and complacent while I took more footage. At the end I found a nice, shady branch on which to release him.
