The message of “evening news” means more now than ever. Mainstream media has manipulated people so much more these days. Chamillionaire was such an underrated hip hop artist 💯
Bro, the problems have allways been there. Both pac and biggie rapped about it back in the day (not Iraq wars but about similair stuff) it´s all the same situation with different subjects.
Thenotso cool dude Well of course they've always been there, that's the reason the song was made. What i'm saying is that a lot of people, especially in the hip hop community, weren't what many would call "awake" to actually listen to the shit he had to say, which is why we didn't really hear shit from Chamillionaire afterwards.
+Thenotso cool dude I can't wait for Chamilly to add some footage of Obama. There are plenty of equally good golf shots after the beheading of James Foley.
KIRA CAMERON A lot of people don’t see the difference between rap and hip hop, but it’s there. Rap has always been more about complex lyrics and not just a beat like hip hop.
He covered countless important issues in 2 songs. That's what we need more of in rap. Rappers willing to talk about actual socio-political affecting people
U rite but what about ice cube album “everything it’s corrupt”?! Take a luck and u can c there still ....”only from the old school rappers “ Telling tru rap the damn reality game
Proper Hip-Hop this is right here classic stuff. Chamillionaire was right when he said in this song ‘Hip-Hip’ is dead. He literally foreseen it and foreshadowed it in that one lyric. You will never see rappers these days make songs or videos like this they lack the creativity or authenticity. This was the last era of true of Hip-Hop and this song is an underrated masterpiece.
@@zhaneshirkey6788 naw, they were never underrated. They have a spot in all the drawings(canvases),legend mentions, and even the greats mention them alot. The problem with them is their body of work was alot smaller than most.Biggie slid in there (not discrediting)because of the controversy. That catapulted the listening ears to longer distances.i do however disagree with most simpletons putting Eazy E up there as top tier legend status.Maybe on the business side of things but the Mic was never his stronger point.Pun is def one of my top 5.
***** People forgot about Chamillionaire because he didn't release enough interesting material. He kept saying that his new album "Venom" was going to drop soon. He has been saying that since 2009... Also Cham brags about his money, cars and hoes a fucking lot. This song was a gem among his songs.
Cham has released ALOT of material over the years. I mean he has like 10 mixtapes out there or something. That's a lot of fucking songs. A lot of those are bad, but occasionally he releases some fucking fire. Like recently, he made a song called "Watching Breaking Bad". When Cham decides to pull out his pen and write stories, he can fucking do it. And fuck yeah he can spit, just listen to some of his roll call songs, where he imitates a lot of rappers. He is versatile as fuck. His breakout hit was "Ridin Dirty", and a year later he released a song called "Ridin overseas" which I see as being a lot better, Cham talking about how just because some cops would pull him over, not all cops are bad. But more often than not, I see his lyrical ability go to waste, when he talks about how much cash he has, or how many expensive cars, his clothes or his hoes. But Cham was forgotten mostly because he only really had 1 hit single, being Ridin Dirty.
Chamillionaire is one of the best rappers out there. He spits so much truth most people just want to ignore him, but it doesn't make him any worse, just less famous.
Until this song was released elsewhere first.... This song came out 7 years ago lol. Edit: Never mind, just fact-checked myself. Song was released in 2007 but uploaded onto YT in 2009... Wow lol..
He Never Sold His Soul.. And Still Made $50 Million [or billions] ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kndYbpXXs7A.html Best music video ever!
@@highpeddle9543 not really back then music had meaning music now a days sound the same all I can say is we only got a few who are bringing back that old school vibe back
Back in the day when i watched this I wasnt really listening.. This is pure brilliance, humor and message wrapped in one. If yall know any other rap videos like this give me a link 'cause as it stands this might be the best rap video i've ever seen.
Even so many years after and it's still legendary and relevant. It's honestly sad that everything is the same and worse, nothing has become better since then.
This here took a creative mind that is true to his craft. I miss this era where rappers were actually spending time to think, write, and put out good content. The era where you actually had to rap words for people to take you serious, the era that inspired me. Chamillionaire didn't have the longest career but he's definitely one of Hiphop's gift. Even a decade later I'm watching his work with admiration. The time and creativity he put into his craft deserves every recognition. The man was a beast. Salute 👊🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾
So lyrical so ....true... I cant believe I slept on this song for years... its sad that when you rap about politics and current issues you disappear im glad cham didnt rap about money hoes cars and clothes. Hip hop is dead my friends prosperity rappers killed it
Your comment is 100% true. I still have this album and it's not just his beats but his lyrical content is off the chain. Rap has declined rapidly in the past few years so all they rap about today is how many bitches they be fuckin, how drunk they got at the club or how many cars they got
I remember first listening to this guy and not listening closely to his lyrics. Judged him as another mainstream dude. When I did listen closely....I realized how good he is.
chamillionaire was getting rich and he mightve got a warning for his music and being too out there. i think thats why he dropped out of music and focused on making money in other ways. he isnt stupid, very smart man. still rich even though he is from the hood.
@@owlaracing1106 yeah but his music combined with messages about negstive upper powers is a huge NO NO. chamillionaire was smart in moving out but he couldve made more money in his prime but im almost sure they told him to stop with this kind of music.
Now he is a venture capitalist in a major firm in L.A. He still does music he has taken a break in the last few years but he has tons of newer music! He has some even better music now too and he had a website for a while it's down right now you could buy autographed stuff which you know he signed cause he wouldn't treat people like trash like Michael Jordan did to him!. You could even get chamillitary hats jackets and shirts! But he did drop out of the rap game because he probably realized it's run by Satanist who make you sell you're soul which means makes you do stuff which you wouldn't normally do for fame and money! Like sex rituals! Hollywood is actually based on black magic! Hollywood is from the holly tree they use to make wands for magic and other dark things that's why it's called movie magic!
this video reflect the horror caused by the world Elite dark shadow that run global and it's destruction of humanity . Cham' well done you were ahead of your time dude God bless.
Im dumb as hell when i was a kid watchin this video i didnt realize the dude playing the black cop in the beginning was actually chamillionaire himself LMFAO 😂😂😂😂
How come I never hear this track before. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 so many details that make it even lit🔥🔥🔥 hat off to chammilionaire. 2019 still better than this days rappers
