We lived on Paradise up on top of Mataguac..Wusstig Road was my Mini Bike Trail.I knew every part of that Jungle back then. Hinting Quails for my Mom with my Sling Shot with my brother Fred. Climbing Tangerine and Coconut Trees was my specialty as a kid. The warmth of the Pacific Island Oh how I miss the ocean breeze. Mom making Corn Tortillas and Fatada...Auhu!!Young coconut and Tapioca starch and sugar was my Mom's favorite desert. Kids running up the hill smelling Moms cooking after school. And my pet pig Arnold waiting for me to walk him around the jungle hunting for Quails and picking score seeds for red rice for Mom. Pop riding the Tractor plowing the fields to plant crops. We had a beautiful farm. Pop was a very hard worker.Work hard and be proud to be a Wusstig was my Dad's motto. God Bless Toatoa Guihan Si Zuuse Maasi Si Bernaditan Zazi. hu. It's been 17 years since I've been to Guam.I walked out on Wusstig Road to catch the bus. All the way out to Marine Drive. If I could bring back time. My father Felix Wusstig built our House up on the Mataguac Hill There was nothing but red dirt and Beautiful Coconut Trees on Wusstig
Thank you JJ. for the Beautiful Music. I met Jose Borja Conception in Long Beach, CA. I have a daughter from him. Her name is Bernadette Marie Sablan Wusstig born in Guam.
Looks like it's over. You knew I couldn't stay. She's coming home today. Robert John : Sad Eyes. There's no ill intention. I just think your name is awesome.
I love this song, I know I do but here's the thing, I need translation please. I listen to JJ and his music because he's good. I see most of all this comments to this song and most are wishing they were back home and missing it. If it's about home than that's why it hits my heart.
I remember my family who are at my island my heart hurts I wish I was back home no matter where I go I always feel emotional one day I’m going to come back to my island because the wind is so fresh the island is so beautiful the beach is full of bbq smoke. 🤦🏻♂️ I wish I was back home.

She never got to meet her Dad. He died on Guam in 1988. Bernadette is thirty now. She has two brothers I used to babysit. She looks like her brothers. They moved back to Guam from Long Beach in 1985. Jose and I were getting married. And then he got really sick. He said he had agent orange from Vietnam. I even met his Mom and Dad and Sister Mary in Riverside, California. She looks alot like Jose and Mary, He told me he was born in Saipan.
