Hey Attorney Somm, I recently commented on another video that I felt that the transitions between shots felt unnecessary and that jump cuts would be less notable. I don’t know If that is the reason why you started using jump cuts but I am liking it! Keep it up! Lovely video as always
@AttorneySomm
@AttorneySomm 2 года назад
Thanks very much! Yes, I have been trying to implement your suggestion! I still retain a few transitions, but rely primarily on jump cuts in the past couple that I have edited. Thanks for watching and the constructive feedback! Truly appreciate it. Cheers!

My favourit is the Dom Ruinart Rose 2007. Had it on side after the cellar tour.

perfect ! your video is just "to the point", you didn't miss any of the key factors that make the difference between those 2 wines. Note also that in Champagne more and more producers grow grapes organically, I do not think that that is the case in the Prosecco area. Greetings from Belgium (very close to Reims :-) !

Nice video 👌🏻 There are four other grapes that can still technically be used to make Champagne. Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, petit Meslier and Arbanne .
@AttorneySomm
@AttorneySomm 2 года назад
Thank you! Yes thanks for mentioning that. Possibly worth a quick note but collectively less than 0.5% of the grapes used for Champagne so decided to omit it. Hard to know where to draw the line in these videos.

You should do a video about Cava! I find that the general public doesn’t really know about Cava and think that Prosecco is their only choice unless they want to splurge on Champagne. Not that Prosecco is bad per se, but Cava is much more similar to Champagne than Prosecco is, and still offers great value. Cava is my go-to when I’m throwing a party with people that aren’t going to appreciate an expensive bottle of Champagne, yet I want something that’s still delicious and very similar to Champagne.

Thank you! Agreed. Lots of excellent Cava. Definitely some compelling values as well.

I don't care for Prosecco - ruined in the same way that Soave, Valpolicella and Chianti was through overproduction. My favourite cremant is Cremant d'Alsace. I buy my NV Champagnes and English sparkling wines and keep them for 2/3 years.
@AttorneySomm
@AttorneySomm 2 года назад
Thanks for weighing in! I do not drink it either. Cremant definitely offers compelling value and I prefer that method of production. Cheers!
